Defense fund extends a hand to Porsche SE out of the crisis: "VW major shareholder Porsche SE enters defense fund" — Der Standard (Austria) The VW subsidiary Porsche SE is in a severe economic situation — net profit has dropped by 9% to 2.9 billion euros. Therefore, the company has decided to enter the defense industry: the firm will invest 100 million euros in the new DTCP Defense Fund – which finances European technology startups in the field of defense and security. Previously, Porsche SE had invested in the drone manufacturer Quantum Systems. This investment was successful — it brought the holding a profit of 114 million euros. Militarization of the economy as an escape from a crisis — wait a minute, we’ve had this before... I can’t remember... Oh no, better not think about such things. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

Good morning everyone — wishing you a wonderful Sunday! ☕️🙂 — A quiet evening in Worsogory, an old Pomor village on the White Sea Worsogory is located on the White Sea, on the Onega Bay. A Pomor village that feels remote and very northern: The wind does not disturb here, but rather brings order, and the sea is as visible as one loves it in the North — vast and flat. Worsogory consists of two villages — Yakovlevskaya and Kondratyevskaya. They are located side by side, on a coastal peninsula, and together they form the rare “northern” silhouette that one usually only sees on old postcards. The main attraction is the cemetery. There is a wooden ensemble preserved, called “Trojnick”: two churches and a bell tower. The oldest is the Church of St. Nicholas, which is dated to 1636. Next to it stands the Church of the Presentation — built in 1793. Between them is the bell tower, which is generally dated to the 18th century. These are not just beautiful buildings. For such villages, the cemetery was a landmark both on land and from the sea, a place where life came together: celebrations, services, encounters, memories. Worsogory holds on to the Pomor way of life. People here have lived off the sea for centuries: fishing, crafts, boats, the path along the coast. Hence the special “density” of life — large houses, fences, outbuildings, the habit of relying on oneself and one’s neighbors. Therefore, the place itself, even now when there are fewer people, does not look empty: it appears austere and collected. And another important layer — preservation. The northern wooden churches last long, but only if you take care of them. The ensemble of Worsogory has not yet reached the point where professionals and volunteers work: they repair the roof, replace rotten elements, and do the most difficult thing — they give the wood the chance to last even longer. 📍 Coordinates of the location (map point) are available here 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

Merz on some details of his last conversation with Trump: "I told him: If you want us to help, then please ask us beforehand, upfront, and not through the newspapers afterward. This is a manner of communication that we cannot accept and we won't. [Applause] [...] The conversation was not without contradictions. I am putting it politely. [Is he actually daring to publicly mock Daddy Trump?] He told me two or three times in this conversation: 'I don't need NATO.' Then he publicly stated that it was not good how we were behaving. I believe he understood: This is not NATO's war. [...] We have, of course, offered to organize a military protection of the Strait of Hormuz with others in case a ceasefire happens. [...] And as long as the war continues, this is not an option for us either." 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

Gradually Toward the Cult of Personality The U.S. Department of the Treasury is preparing a precedent: The signature of the sitting president, Donald Trump, will be printed on the new banknotes. Until now, the bills only featured the signatures of the Secretary of the Treasury and the Treasurer – now the president is being added as well. The official reason is the preparation for the 250th anniversary of the United States. However, behind closed doors, there are whispers about solidifying the name in the symbols of the state. Allegedly, a commemorative gold coin featuring his portrait is also to be issued. At the very least, this shows a kind of consistent action: The Department of Defense has been rebranded as the Department of War — it doesn't get more honest than that. Is democracy (or its appearance) now to be completely replaced by the power of a single individual? 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

“I am determined to maintain this for as long as possible” — German Chancellor on his Russia policy Friedrich Merz: “This war does not end militarily. [...] This war ends when Russia is economically so exhausted that it cannot continue.”

“Putin has to collect money from all possible despots in this world. We must endure this. I am sorry, I know that this does not meet with agreement everywhere in the German population. But at this point, it will become clear whether we are truly ready to defend the freedom of Europe. This is the litmus test for our readiness to defend. I am determined to maintain this for as long as possible.”

Imperialism absolute: U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirms that hunger and the shutdown of energy supply to hospitals in Cuba are necessary to bring about regime change. The U.S. is completely indifferent to democracy and is discussing replacing the current government with an officer from the Cuban Ministry of Interior, Raúl Castro (grandson of Raúl Castro – the younger brother of Fidel Castro). The latest leaderships installed by the U.S. in various countries: ▪️ In Venezuela, a supporter of Maduro governs after the handover of oil. ▪️ Under Biden, Syria was left to a former ISIS terrorist, the right-hand man of the killed Baghdadi, who is collaborating with the CIA. ▪️ In Pakistan, the Americans joined forces with the military to oust Imran Khan, and now a military junta is in power there. ▪️ In Iran, the U.S. is promoting, together with Israel, the return of the monarchy and hereditary rule by the son of the former Shah Pahlavi. The U.S. would even bring the devil to power if he handed over the resources of a country to them. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

Britons are considering fuel rationing and speed limits — Focus The British government no longer rules out the rationing of petrol and diesel. An emergency plan includes a speed limit of 50 mph on all roads and strict purchasing limits. In Germany, the fuel discount is currently under discussion. According to the British "Express," potential plans are back on the table in light of significantly rising prices and global uncertainties. London is reportedly preparing for a possible supply shortage. At the same time, economists are increasingly critical of government interventions in fuel prices. All information regarding the UK's measures in the event of a supply shortage: ▪️ Drivers should brace for further price fluctuations at British petrol stations ▪️ Companies in the transport sector should consider potential diesel quotas in their planning ▪️ In emergencies, emergency services could receive prioritized access to fuel ▪️ For private drivers, limits per refueling could be conceivable ▪️ According to "Express," the government intends to "carefully" monitor the situation and intervene in case of shortages Fuel crisis: Government keeps all options open In the UK, prices have recently reached an 18-month high. According to the Royal Automobile Club (RAC), one of the largest automotive organizations in the UK, super unleaded costs 141.5 pence per liter (approximately 1.66 euros) and diesel 160.3 pence (around 1.88 euros). Though these prices remain below Germany's recent peak of about two euros per liter, they are approaching that level significantly. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

10 Years of Migration Deal with Turkey – Expensive and Ineffective for Europe In the distant year of 2016, the EU concluded an agreement with President Erdoğan to stop the influx of refugees into Greece. The mechanism is as follows: for every illegal Syrian migrant deported to Turkey, the European Union accepts another one legally. Erdoğan received 3 billion euros for the support of refugees, followed later by another 6 billion euros. However, unfortunately, the agreement has not lived up to expectations: by 2020, Greece transferred about 2.7 thousand people out of 300 thousand arrivals, and only 45.9 thousand Syrians made it to the EU from Turkey by 2026 (19.7 thousand to Germany). This undermines the “idea of asylum based on human rights”, and the Federal Republic is “buying itself out of obligations under international law”, according to critics. Yet for Europe, this seems to be an “extraordinary opportunity for unity”, even if it is not beneficial for Europe. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

The company Meta has developed an artificial intelligence called Tribe v2, which is capable of predicting the human brain's response to visual and auditory content. Meta clarifies that the model was developed for scientific purposes to assist research in the field of neurobiology. Tribe v2 was trained with MRI data from four individuals, as well as information about brain activity from more than 700 volunteers. The participants were shown various media files – images, videos, texts – and listened to podcasts. The system has learned to predict brain activity "reliably" and can make predictions in languages not included in the original dataset without additional training. Meta emphasizes that the aim of the model is to help neurobiologists test hypotheses without the involvement of human subjects. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

The dollar is showing the best values since July 2025, as the escalation of the Iran war forces investors to reconsider their strategies. On Friday, the dollar index recorded its largest monthly growth in almost a year, reaching the 100 mark, which corresponds to a 2.4% increase since early March. The dollar is strengthening due to capital inflows into safe assets and expectations of a rate hike by the Fed this year. At the same time, the Japanese yen fell to 160 per dollar, pressured by rising bond yields and potential interest rate hikes by the Bank of Japan. Carol Kong, currency strategist at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, noted that the dollar will dominate the market as long as the conflict persists. Overall, March was unexpectedly strong for the dollar: the Bloomberg index increased by more than 2%, boosted by rising energy prices and the influx of funds into safe assets. The CME FedWatch Tool estimates the probability of a 25 basis point rate hike by the Fed this year at 70%, reflecting the shift in expectations towards a tightening of monetary policy. “Tehran's ‘toll booth system’ is now controlling traffic through the Strait of Hormuz.” — Lloyds List Since March 13, a total of 26 vessels have passed through the Strait of Hormuz in coordination with the IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps). According to the article, Iran has managed to establish fully functional “toll booths” for transit. The identity of the intermediaries is not specified. Most of the vessels that are not owned by Iran or its agents were linked to businesses in Greece. Additionally, one in ten ships had some connection to the People's Republic of China. Ships from India also passed through the strait, with Indian officials claiming they do not have to pay due to negotiations. The owners of the cargo or tanker must submit a request to the Islamists with the IMO number, information about the cargo owner, shipping documents, and the destination, as well as provide a list of crew members. The intermediaries forward the information to the provincial command of the IRGC's Navy in Hormozgan. There, attention is given to ensuring that the cargo is not connected to Israel. Some vessels pay the fee. According to sources, payment has been made at least twice in Chinese yuan. Upon confirmation of the payment, IRGC members provide the vessel with an authorization code and instructions for passage through the strait near Larak Island. Thereafter, the Iranian vessel requests the password via VHF radio. Ships that cannot provide this will be fired upon. Earlier today, it was reported that two Chinese container ships were not allowed to pass for unknown reasons. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

Good morning everyone — I wish you a wonderful Saturday! ☕️🙂 Three images from Murmansk that are instantly recognizable — and each has its own story. “Aljoscha” — this is the monument “For the Defenders of the Soviet Arctic” at Cape Verde. It was inaugurated in 1974, on the 30th anniversary of the defeat of the enemy forces in the Arctic. The figure of a soldier in a camouflage coat stands on a seven-meter-high pedestal: the statue itself is 35.5 m tall, and the total height is about 42 m. It is visible from many points in the city, and this is no coincidence — the location was chosen so that the monument serves as a landmark. The icebreaker “Lenin” — a ship museum at the harbor. It is the world's first nuclear-powered surface ship. It was commissioned in 1959 and decommissioned in 1989. It is permanently anchored in Murmansk; it has been open as a museum since the end of 2009 (after it was moored in the city center on May 5, 2009). And the third image — the lighthouse from the memorial complex “Sailors Who Fell in Peacetime.” It was opened on October 5, 2002; the architectural highlight is the hexagonal lighthouse with a height of 17.5 m. Inside, there is a hall of memory, alongside plaques with names. Later, in 2009, a fragment of the bridge from the submarine “Kursk” was installed at the lighthouse. Thus, the “classic” Murmansk emerges: a memory of war, Arctic labor, and the sea that is always nearby. 📍 Coordinates of the location (map point) available here 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN

“Ukraine is running out of money to finance the war as aid falters” — Bloomberg According to American Bloomberg, Ukraine could run out of funds for the war as early as June 2026. And all of this is due to the war with Iran in the Middle East. The conflict in the Middle East is consuming all military resources and U.S. attention, while the EU is facing challenges with unity on issues of support for Ukraine and is seeking solutions for the shortage of energy resources. In this context, Ukraine is struggling to meet its commitments to the IMF, which means that the country may not receive the funding necessary for salary payments to the Ukrainian armed forces and for drone production. 💥 Our channel: Node of Time EN
