🚨 Resistance fighters are targeting the Palestinian Authority’s headquarters in #Tulkarem with heavy gunfire in response to the most recent assassination attempt by Security Forces. Resistant youth have also started fires in the middle of the roads to block entrance into Tulkarem camp.

GAZA CHILDREN FIND RARE PEACE Palestinian children can be seen playing in the rubble in Gaza. They’ve created a makeshift swing from collapsed power lines. That’s higher than from four years of global conflict, according to the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA). Images like these vividly remind us of the desperate human cost. Amid the chaos, little boys and girls are finding a semblance of peace and joy. Perhaps a small chance to relive their childhood robbed by war. Back in February, UNICEF estimated the conflict has orphaned 17,000 children. That figure is now likely way higher with the number of Palestinians killed topping 34,000.

NOW: Thousands of protesters are protesting in Berlin’s Neukölln district for the annual “Revolutionary May 1 Demonstration.” This year, the protest’s focal point is Israel’s ongoing war of extermination against the Gaza Strip, with a wide range of anti-fascist, socialist, and migrant organizations attending the protest. Thousands of police officers are already present at the protest in the district of Neukölln, known for its large Palestinian community. Yesterday, authorities announced they will deploy around 6,000 police officers, employing a “zero-tolerance strategy,” to prevent any “riots.” Recent years have seen Berlin’s May Day protests come under attack by police for various pretexts.
