Germanic Sanctuaries
Wilhelm Teudt
Did the Germanic peoples already have their own advanced culture before coming into contact with the Romans and the West Franks? In his magnum opus Germanic Sanctuaries, first published in 1929, Wilhelm Teudt attempts to find archaeological evidence for an advanced Germanic civilization. Teudt’s research focuses on the area southwest of Detmold, known as the Osningmark. He hypothesized that the Externsteine found there were a Germanic place of worship or a so-called “solar observatory.” Teudt's theories met with considerable resistance and were rejected by the academic community from the outset, yet they continue to influence esoteric and neo-pagan circles to this day. Richly illustrated with over 80 photographs, drawings, maps, and sketches. A completely revised new edition of the 1931 edition.

| 2 | Life Among the Cathars
René Nelli
"In the French Middle Ages, from the end of the 12th century until 1209, when the Crusade was unleashed, Catharism was able to organize itself in the form of a Church and, through the great lords won to its cause, to exert a social and political influence over the whole country. At the same time, thanks to the preaching of its ministers, Catharism succeeded in modifying the general spirit of the inhabitants of Languedoc and, consequently, their daily life... In this book you will find a sort of film of the life of the Cathars in Languedoc, as it developed, from the dawn of the 13th century until 1350." (From the introduction.)
René Nelli was a French poet, Hermeticist, essayist and historian, recognized as an authority on the Occitan culture of the Middle Ages and Catharism in particular. Nelli was a close friend of Miguel Serrano, on whom he was a major influence regarding the esoteric beliefs of Catharism.

The Sepent of Paradise
Miguel Serrano
"The Serpent of Paradise concludes a trilogy of which Neither by Land nor by Sea (1950) and Invitation to the Icefields (1957) are the other two parts. Like these other books, it is an apparently disconnected narration of adventures and experiences. It has had to take this form because its only unifying feature is the design of a life that has not yet ended." (From the Preface.)
This enlightening work is a reflection on the author's pilgrimage through India before the influence of modernity changed its ancestral culture forever. A poetic account of his journey to holy sites, ice caves, and ashrams, The Serpent of Paradise is meant as an esoteric guide along the Heroic path “for those who once again will want to pass beyond the poles.”

| 6 | The Eddas
Rudolf Gorsleben
Rudolf John Gorsleben's translation of the Prose Edda was first published in 1920 as a supplement to his earlier translation of the Poetic Edda. He translated both of the Eddas from Old Norse into High German and provided an extensive commentary. These works are among the most important German translations of the Eddas to this day.
This volume contains book II of Gorsleben's translations from the Prose Edda and Sagas, as well as book III of his complete translation of the Poetic Edda. The former comprises the Gylfaginning, Bragaræður and Skáldskaparmál, Nornagests þáttr, and the Volsunga Saga, while the latter consists of selections from the Hávamál, Hyndluljóð, Grímnismál, Völuspá, and Sigrdrífumál.
As a re-translation from High German into English, the main value of this work is in the original translator's Ariosophic perspective, and his inclusion of sources like the Volsung and Nornagest material from outside of the Eddic canon.

Nietzsche and the Dance of Shiva
Miguel Serrano
Completely revised and newly translated from the Spanish, this updated edition of Serrano's brilliant essay on Nietzsche represents the highest quality and most accurate English translation currently available.
In this work, the author connects the thought of Nietzsche with the Shivaite Tantric philosophy of India. Its pages contain an interesting analysis of C. G. Jung’s concept of the "collective unconscious" in relation to Christianity, Judaism, and the Will to Power as the only honest and fundamental attempt at the transmutation of all values.
These are invitations to explore deeper aspects of a man who had such a profound influence on the transformation of the world. Endowed with a poetic sensibility and a love of mystery, Serrano offers a unique and insightful perspective on Nietzsche’s ideas.

| 8 | The Ur Group
Colazza & Scaligero
Giovanni Colazza was an Italian philosopher and esotericist. According to Baroness Olga de Grünewald, Colazza "was not only Rudolf Steiner's dearest disciple, but the most elevated figure after him". From the 1920s onwards, he also held numerous anthroposophical conferences on behalf of Rudolf Steiner, including a series on Steiner's work Initiation, which was collected and published posthumously with the title On Initiation.
Colazza's most illustrious disciple was Massimo Scaligero, an Italian journalist, esotericist, and follower of anthroposophy. Scaligero had contacts with Gabriele D'Annunzio, who defined him as the "new prophet of Italy", and with Julius Evola, under whoes guidance he worked in the Ur Group. After the war, in which he supported the Fascist regime, he became a well-known figure in neo-fascist circles and later joined the Italian Anthroposophical Society under the guidance of Giovanni Colazza.

The Step Out of Line
Kurt Eggers
In this autobiographical novel, Eggers relates his experience studying theology, as a member of a student fraternity and in the service of the Mecklenburg Regional Church, as well as his life in the war. The Step Out of Line is a revolutionary autobiography in which the author seeks to inspire the younger generation.
Sami Drums and Rune Magic
Sigurd Agrell
The present work reveals how the Eddic rune songs were composed according to a system of runic number mysticism, referred to by Agrell as the Uthark, which formed an esoteric counterpart to the exoteric Futhark script. The occult meaning of the runes in this magical context is found to be directly correlated with the runic designs painted by Sami shamans on their ritual drums, which is cited as evidence for the Uthark theory. | 595 |

Passport to Magonia
Jacques Vallee
Throughout history, people have reported the observation of unidentified aerial objects. Descriptions of landings made by these objects are commonplace, and many accounts inform us of the physical characteristics and behavior of their occupants. But investigators have neglected to recognize one important perspective of the phenomenon: the fact that beliefs identical to those held today have recurred throughout history and under forms best adapted to the believer's country, race, and social regime.

| 13 | The Folkish Idea
Various authors
A collection of early writings from three of the most prominent figures in the Folkish movement, including essays and fiction by Guido von List, Lanz von Liebenfels and Rudolf John Gorsleben. Here, the Folkish philosophy is applied with humor and pathos to such varied topics as history, drama, religion, and politics, revealing the human side of the movement as never before. In the first part, List presents a brief essay on the reconstruction of the ancient Roman fort of Carnuntum in Austria, followed by a critical examination of the infamous Taxil hoax from Liebenfels. In the second, a short dramatic poem by List in the Wagnerian style precedes a darkly comedic full-length play on the subject of aristocracy by Gorsleben.

| 14 | The Tarot
Ernst Kurtzahn
Ernst Tristan Kurtzahn (1879 - 1939) was a German architect, teacher, author and esoteric researcher. Despite being relatively unknown today, Kurtzahn was an influential figure in the Armanen school of esotericism, and played an important role in its development.
In 1915, inspired by Gustav Meyrink's novel The Golem, Kurtzahn became interested in the Tarot. After studying the works of Etteilla, Papus and Éliphas Lévi, Kurtzahn published The Tarot in 1920. It was the first German-language book on the Tarot and includes a set of cards designed by the author, which was also the first esoteric Tarot in German.
This edition includes Kurtzahn's Armanist work "The Runes as Symbols of Salvation and Fate." One of the first books on interpreting Rune divination using the modern 18-Futhork grouping, it features a set of plates with runes that may be cut out and used in a similar manner to tarot cards for divination.

| 15 | The Occult War
Emmanuel Malynski
Born in Poland under Russian rule, Count Emmanuel Malynski became a Polish citizen in 1918 after independence. He was a friend of the nationalist author Count Léon de Poncins, with whom he co-authored "The Occult War" in 1936. This work is a summary by de Poncins of the theses presented by Malynski in a cycle of numerous books entitled "The Mission of God's People," with the first nine chapters representing the continuation of an earlier work entitled "The Great World Conspiracy." Upon its publication, the book attracted the attention of Julius Evola, who translated it into Italian and wrote the introduction presented here. Also included in this edition are two appendices: Evola’s essay ‘Considerations on the Occult War’, which is a 1938 article on this topic; and a review of the French edition of the book that was published by the traditionalist philosopher René Guénon in 1936.

| 16 | America’s Decline
Revilo P. Oliver
America’s Decline is a compendium of many of the finest articles written by one of America's leading dissident thinkers. Revilo P. Oliver started his political career as a conservative, but - as this volume makes clear - he came to realise that conservatism is not enough. Oliver held positions of some importance in several of what once seemed the most promising conservative movements in the United States, and was an attentive observer of the political forces operating within these groups, as well as their opposition. This succinct and candid account of his political education makes a significant contribution to the historical record of American conservatism for those interested in studying its rise and fall.

The full catalogue of books from our Heritage imprint are now available on the Internet Archive at https://archive.org/details/heritage-press. In addition, Heritage recently published a facsimile version of The Question of the Rigveda by Herman Wirth. In the author's words:
"The one who undertakes to approach the so difficult question of the origin and age of the oldest religious document of the Indoeuropean humanity, must tread along new paths, especially if he is no Indeologue. In the present work the way passed by the primordial religions and symbolic history is being traced backwards until its origins. May this book reach beyond the boundaries of its scientific goal and bring some spiritual clarity into the crisis of the men of to-day."
