Role Overview:
Ignite Investment is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Managing Director in daily operations, administration, and stakeholder engagement. The role involves managing office projects, building relationships with investors and business leaders, and ensuring smooth business operations. Strong communication, organizational, and technical skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency, are essential. A degree and at least one year of experience in administration or business operations are required.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with the preparation of presentations, reports, engagement letters and other documents.
• Facilitate, prepare and edit emails, letters, memos, and other communication materials.
• Prioritize and manage correspondence including answering call requests.
• Co-ordinate appointments and schedule meetings.
• Draft agendas and minutes.
• Conduct research and support the Managing Director in running the day to day operations of
Ignite.
• Maintain the workflow of the company by studying methods, developing systems and tools
for the successful running of the company.
• Problem solving and identifying solutions for administrative problems of the company.
• Preparing oral and written responses to various incoming inquires to the company
• Participate in forums and conferences to develop relationships, learn trends, interact with
customers/clients and represent the Managing Director when necessary.
• Promote Ignite and its brands intensively and professionally ensuring integrity in all aspects.
• Work closely and regularly apprise the managing director of Ignite all developments and
activities of the office activities.
Qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or Management, Secretary Science,
literature or education, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, or related field (Computer science, .....).
• 1+ years of experience in a business or related role with a track record of success.
• Previous experience in the area of investment, deal sourcing, entrepreneurship, building
business relationships or related activities is advantageous.
• Proficiency in technological tools such as email, all Microsoft Office tools (Microsoft Outlook,
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, multitasking, prioritizing, time management
with verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical ability, problem-solving and management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Enthusiastic, personable, positive attitude, and high integrity.
• Persistent, pro-active, self-motivated with the ability to work under limited supervision.
• Passionate about building relationships and networking at a professional and personal level.
• Strong oral and written communication skills along with good listening skills.
• Attention to detail and organized.
• Ability to follow instructions and ability to understand them with little or no follow up.
• Ability to work with others and a team player.

Role Overview:
Ignite Investment seeks a Business Development Officer to build a pipeline of investment opportunities for its equity crowdfunding platform. The role involves developing relationships with key stakeholders and maintaining a database of potential investments. Strong knowledge of Ethiopia’s business ecosystem and investment trends is essential. A degree and at least one year of experience in business development or a similar role are required.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement an investment opportunities pipeline development strategies.
• Develop a pipeline of investment opportunities from origination to deal close.
• Identify viable, sustainable and scalable businesses and startups looking for financing.
• Identify strong companies looking to expand their businesses through strategic advisory
services.
• Be able to conduct initial review of companies to select only appropriate businesses.
• Frequent interaction with prospective investment opportunities.
• Communicate regularly and build deep relationships with managers and business owners
including securing NDA and the equity crowdfunding fee agreements.
• Regular interactions to obtain required due diligence documents and other essential data.

• Process new investment opportunities by logging them into a business profiling database.
• Develop and provide a written profile on each opportunity to present to potential investors.
• Communicate our investors’ interest and provide feedback to managers and business owners.
• Conduct research on market trends, demographics, pricing and competitor offerings.
• Work to identify new investment strategies in various sectors.
• Design strategies for cost-cutting measures such as outsourcing none-core activities
• Detail and present case studies based on industry/sector attractiveness.
• Participate in forums and conferences to develop relationships, learn trends and obtain
prospects.
• Promote the Ignite and its brands intensively through websites, social medias, expos, etc.
• Work closely and regularly apprise the managing director of Ignite all developments and
activities of the job.
Qualifications:
