Talk about instant karma with extra spice. Two men in Nigeria accused of stealing fresh peppers were cornered by locals and given a choice: take a beating or eat the stolen goods. The pair are seen passing raw hot peppers back and forth and eating them while bystanders look on. They were also reportedly made to wash them down with dry gin. Eventually, some people in the crowd stepped in and stopped it as the men became visibly distressed. Nigeria has seen several similar viral ‘jungle justice’ videos this year, with suspected petty thieves being forced to eat whatever they allegedly tried to steal. Probably the last peppers they’ll be stealing for a while.
