Chainsmoker Cat | Yani Neko Uncensored
Ratings - 7
Episodes - 12
Genres - Comedy, Echhi, Slice of Life
Chainsmoker Cat is not your typical cute cat anime. It follows Yani, a catgirl whose smoking addiction and terrible lifestyle make her everyday life a complete mess. The concept sounds weird, but that's exactly what makes it interesting. The comedy is dark, absurd and different from what you usually see in anime. Yani is lazy, irresponsible and makes some questionable decisions, but that's what makes her entertaining. This anime very accurately shoes the life of an addict (not just smoke but other forms of addiction as well). If you want to see the dark side of an addict with some comedy, this is the one to check out. It's definitely not for everyone, but if you enjoy chaotic characters and dark humour, give it a shot! We need more anime like this to spread awareness in the society.
| 2 | Hajime no Ippo
Ratings - 8.5
Episodes - 127
Genres - Action, Comedy, Drama, Shonen, Sports
I started Hajime no Ippo based on mouth publicity and had pretty high expectations from it. The plot follows Ippo Makunouchi, a timid, bullied high schooler who discovers the world of boxing. His quest isn't just about winning titles; it's a deeply personal journey to discover what it truly means to be "strong."
Ippo’s relentless dedication is intriguing and inspiring. The members of the Kamogawa Gym, especially the loud, powerhouse Takamura, provides endless comedy and unwavering mentorship. Every opponent Ippo faces has a rich backstory, making you sympathize with both corners of the ring. If you want a masterful blend of adrenaline action, genuine heart, and laugh out loud comedy, you need to step into the ring with this classic! Totally recommended. | 200 |
| 3 | Redo of Healer
Ratings - 6.5
Episodes - 12
Genres - Dark, Echhi, Fantasy
The story follows Keyaru, a healer who was used and hurt badly by the kingdom's heroes. He uses his magic to go back in time so he can punish them. You should watch it only if you want a dark story about getting even and can handle very violent and adult scenes.
The plot is all about angry revenge, but the partners Keyaru meets along the way make it interesting. The "heroes" like Princess Flare are actually the villains who have a twisted mentality. The best supporting character is Setsuna, a wolf-girl who joins Keyaru. She gives him a reason to care about something other than hate, even though their journey is brutal. The hero's routine is like work-s€x-plan. The brutality might seem lesser because the it's not the main focus of the story and you get the feel of an echhi Isekai anime. | 2 554 |

Ratings - 8.5
Episodes - 24
Genres - Action, Fantasy, Shounen, Thriller
Rudo, a boy framed for murder and thrown into the "Pit" a terrifying abyss where humanity discards its trash. Instead of dying, he discovers he can turn garbage into powerful weapons called "Jinki" to fight trash monsters.
Rudo’s rage and willingness to survive leads him to the Cleaners led by Enjin. Their mentor-student dynamic and the way the crew embraces the "worthless" is surprisingly touching. Visually, it’s a masterpiece of graffiti-inspired art and fluid animation that feels totally unique. If you want a shonen that oozes "cool" and reimagines the value of what we leave behind, you need to watch this! Easily the best new anime of 2025 alongside Orb. The IMDb ratings would give you a hint. The bgm is also peak. Just go for it! | 2 558 |
| 5 | Watari-kun's Is About to Collapse
Ratings - 7.5
Episodes - 26
Genres - Drama, Romance, Slice of Life
A really underrated anime from the 2025 season. One of those rare anime that completely adapted the manga. Yes you read that right, the whole story is covered in 26 episodes.
This anime is about a boy who's parents die and he's left with just a younger sister. He makes his mind up to take care of her in the best way possible so he skips most of the other aspects of highschool life. This turns him into this nice and honest guy. He likes the top girl in the school and to his surprise she does too. But then there's this total 10/10 baddie who's his childhood friend who also likes him. This creates a great love triangle and instead of other generic Harem anime this one really gives us a lot of twists and turns that are totally unexpected. The echhiness is also at peak. They successfully develop those situations that would get any grown man turned on.
The best romance anime of 2025 alongside Fragrant Flower. | 2 577 |

| 7 | ACCA 13-Territory Inspection Department
Ratings - 7
Episodes - 12
Genres - Drama, Mystery, Political, Seinen, Slice of Life
I’ve never seen a show quite as effortlessly "cool" as 13-Territory Inspection Dept. It’s a political thriller, but instead of explosions, you get jazz, cigarettes, and gourmet bread. The story follows Jean Otus, the second-in-command of an inspection agency, as he travels through the kingdom's 13 distinct districts. Everyone suspects him of leading a coup, and the tension builds in the quietest, most satisfying ways.
Jean is a fantastic protagonist. He is very hard to read and incredibly smooth. His mysterious friend Nino and the five eccentric ACCA Chiefs are pivotal to the intricate web of lies. The atmosphere is unmatched. If you’re tired of generic action and want a smart, visually stunning mystery that treats you like an adult, this is a must-watch. If you like anime like Odd taxi you will enjoy this one as well. | 2 073 |
| 8 | Golden Kamuy
Ratings - 8.5
Episodes - 60
Genres - Action, Adventure, Comedy, Seinen, Slice of Life
Golden Kamuy is an absolute beast of an anime. Set in the frozen wilderness of post-war Hokkaido, the journey follows "Immortal" Sugimoto and a young Ainu girl, Asirpa, as they hunt for a massive stash of stolen gold. The catch? The map is tattooed onto the skins of escaped convicts.
The show is an absolute mood changer, one minute it’s a gritty historical thriller, the next it’s a high-stakes heist and suddenly it’s a hilarious cooking show or a bizarre comedy. The characters such as the eccentric Lieutenant Tsurumi to the "Escape King" Shiraishi, are so vibrant that they often steal the spotlight.
It’s rare to find a series that balances brutal violence with deep cultural respect and absurdist humor so flawlessly. If you want a story that keeps you guessing until the very end, this is it! | 1 715 |
| 9 | The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity
Ratings - 8
Episodes - 13
Genres - Comedy, Romance, Slice of Life
Watching The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity (Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku) felt like rediscovering why I fell in love with romance anime in the first place. The journey centers on Rintaro and Kaoruko, two students from rival schools who couldn't be more different. But the magic isn't in their status but it’s in their quiet, shared moments.
The series shines when focusing on their growth; seeing Rintaro realize he isn't just the "scary guy" through Kaoruko’s eyes is incredibly moving. Their relationship is built on radical honesty and constant, gentle support, moving past typical high school drama into something deeply mature. Every blush and shared pastry feels earned. If you want a story that prioritizes genuine emotional connection and shows how transformative kindness can be, you have to experience this beautiful journey! | 1 471 |
| 10 | Jormungand
Ratings - 7
Episodes - 24
Genres - Action, Adventure, Crime, Thriller, Seinen, War
Jormungand: An Adrenaline Shot of Action!
I picked up Jormungand looking for high-octane action, and it delivered! The core plot follows Koko Hekmatyar, an unbelievably charismatic young arms dealer, and her bodyguard, Jonah, a stoic child soldier who paradoxically hates weapons. This dynamic setup of a pacifist protecting an arms broker is instantly compelling.
What makes the show shine is Koko’s eccentric, fiercely loyal crew. Each member has a unique military background and their own intriguing story arc, proving they're vital to the dangerous missions, not just window dressing. The show perfectly balances explosive firefights with sharp, globe-trotting espionage and philosophical debates about war and peace. If you want a slick, smart, and utterly thrilling ride with complex characters and serious firepower, drop everything and watch this now! | 1 387 |
| 11 | Ao Ashi
Ratings - 7.5
Episodes - 24
Genres - Drama, Slice of Life, Sports, Supernatural
One of the best sports anime. When Blue Lock aired, another anime with a huge potential aired with it. Not with those flashy movies and colourful animations, but something close to what actually happens in football. This anime really teaches us more about football as compared to any other. It's one of the gems that couldn't shine due to Blue Lock.
Character development is amazing, the mc isn't god like and grows step by step. There's so much to learn from. Each character has their own personality and their own goals, they come together to make to the top of the world. Real world clubs like Barcelona and Real Socieadad have also been included. Any genuine football fan would rate this one over Blue Lock. And it's not like this anime is plain boring, it has it's moments where it gives goosebumps. Must watch for anyone who follows football. | 1 312 |
| 12 | Naruto & Shippuden
Ratings - 8.5
Episodes - 720
Genres - Action, Adventure, Comedy, Slice of Life, Supernatural
The Naruto saga is an immersive experience that delivers on every front. The journey follows Naruto Uzumaki, a persistent, loud underdog whose simple dream of becoming the Hokage explodes into a massive global conflict. The plot masterfully balances youthful growing pains with the world ending threat posed by incredibly complex villains like Itachi, Madara and Obito.
The action is visually stunning, driven by creative world-building around the elemental Jutsu system. Crucially, the expansive cast keeps the series grounded. The bonds with friends like the evolving Sakura, the mentorship from figures like Kakashi-sensei, and the constant presence of the destined rival, Sasuke, all keep the show interesting throughout the 720 episodes. This is a must watch for an epic blend of adventure, world building, sacrifice, friendship and perseverance that builds toward an immensely satisfying conclusion. | 1 205 |
| 13 | Lord of the Mysteries
Ratings - 8.5
Episodes - 24
Genres - Action, Dark, Isekai, Fantasy, Mystery, Sci-fi, Supernatural
An absolute watch! As someone who has been absolutely hooked, I can tell you it's a breath of fresh air in the fantasy genre. The story throws us straight into a world of steam, machinery and hidden magic when the main character, Zhou Mingrui, is transmigrated into the body of Klein Moretti, who has a strange connection to an occult. A man trying to navigate a world filled with "Beyonders" who gain powers through mystical potions. The mystery is palpable, and you'll find yourself trying to solve the mystery with Klein. What truly elevates the show are the characters. Klein's journey is fascinating and full of genuinely human struggles, but the supporting cast is just as crucial. Audrey Hall is so well written, making her contributions and personal arc feel deeply important. It’s animation is top notch with a complex plot that makes it a must see for anyone who loves deep world building. | 1 096 |
| 14 | Seraph of the End
Ratings - 7.5
Episodes - 24
Genres - Action, Adventure, Dark, Sci-fi
I finally got around to watching Owari no Seraph, and I instantly loved the energy and the dark, post-apocalyptic setting where humanity is fighting to survive against bloodthirsty vampires. The core of the story is Yuichiro's burning desire for revenge after his family is slaughtered, giving the series a high-stakes emotional pulse. The action sequences are stunning, which is a major draw, but what really hooked me were the characters. Yu and Mika’s complex but broken bond drives the emotional core of the series. Beyond them, the entire supporting cast especially the witty Shinoa Squad feels incredibly important, providing crucial support and much-needed humor. If you enjoy sleek supernatural action, a deep revenge plot, and a cast with great chemistry, this is definitely worth binge-watching. The dark themes balanced with the intense action makes it a uniquely compelling watch. | 936 |
| 15 | Supercrooks
Ratings - 7
Episodes - 13
Genres - Action, Crime, Thriller, Supernatural
I went into Supercrooks blind and was immediately hooked! The story follows Johnny Bolt, a small-time crook trying to pull off one last massive heist with a crew of super-powered criminals to settle a debt. This isn't your typical superhero flick; it's a gritty, fast-paced dive into the morally gray world of super-villainy.
What really sold me were the intriguing characters. Johnny is a compelling, if flawed, lead, but the supporting cast—like the powerful, pragmatic Kasey and the eccentric Heat—truly shine, each bringing vital skills and complex backstories. Their dynamic elevates the whole series. It's a visually stylish, action-packed ride with smart writing and a sharp sense of humor. If you love a good heist thriller with a superhero twist, you absolutely need to watch this! You won't regret joining this crew for the ride. | 822 |
| 16 | Are You Lost? | Sounan Desu Ka? - My Complicated Island Love Story
Ratings - 7/10
Episodes - 12
Genres - Comedy, Echhi, Survival
This was a ridiculous ride. I loved the relentless fan service, it felt erotic! But then the survival tips started hitting, and I was hooked. I'd be laughing my head off one minute at Asuka's absurdity or Shion's pampered reactions, and the next, I’d be genuinely invested in how Homare was going to make potable water out of bat guano or... that other thing.
The series is an absolute mess of conflicting genres: silly comedy, ecchi, and genuine, informative survival drama. My passion for Homare’s no-nonsense survival expertise is real, and the little moments of character growth for the others? Those actually made me misty-eyed in the later episodes! Who expected that level of emotional payoff from a show about stranded high schoolers and their questionable bodily fluid consumption? It's a short, weird, educational, and surprisingly heartwarming guilty pleasure. Awesome show! | 793 |
| 17 | Prison School | Kangoku Gakuen
Rating - 8.5/10
Episodes - 12
Genre - Comedy, Drama, Echhi
Prison School is one of the most unabashedly erotic anime I’ve ever watched, and it embraces that reputation with a bold sense of humor. From the very start, the show isn’t shy about pushing boundaries—its fanservice and risqué jokes are relentless but delivered with such outrageous confidence that it’s hard not to get drawn in.
What stands out most is just how far the series is willing to go, especially in the later episodes. The tension between the characters isn’t just about breaking out of the school’s prison—it’s packed with over-the-top, sexually charged situations that constantly toe the line between hilarious and genuinely steamy. The infamous last episode amps things up to another level, delivering scenes so intense and provocative that even as a grown man, I found myself caught off guard by how arousing and shamelessly entertaining it all was.
Prison School is raunchy, wild, and utterly unrestrained. | 1 397 |
| 18 | Your Lie in April | Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso
Ratings - 9/10
Episodes - 12
Genre - Drama, Music, Romance, Slice of Life
This anime is more than just an anime about music—it’s a bittersweet journey through love, loss, and healing. Watching Kousei’s world transform from monochrome to vibrant color as he meets Kaori is an experience that resonates deeply. The animation is stunning, with musical performances and background music you’ll keep in your favourite albums. What sets this anime apart is its honest portrayal of grief and hope; it doesn’t shy away from difficult moments, making the uplifting ones even more powerful. Some might find the drama overwhelming, but the characters’ struggles feel sincere and relatable. By the end, I literally cried at the end—I was left feeling inspired, heartbroken, and thankful for such beautiful storytelling. Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso is a heartfelt masterpiece that lingers long after you finish, reminding you of the beauty that can be found in even the saddest melodies. | 953 |

One of the greatest anime ever. Excellent story, character growth, animation, background music, story and what not. This is a complete package that will give you emotional barrage of adrenaline. A handful of humans surviving against immortal giants who's only purpose is to eat humans protected by 100-feet walls. One day the walls get breached and humanity's battle for survival begins. This is how the show begins and it just doesn't stop. An anime spanning 4 seasons and two movies still having 0 boring episodes. Captain Levi and Mikasa make you fall in love and Erwin Smith boosts you to join army. Other supporting characters also have definitive roles. Armin is a genius. But the best characters are Eren and Reiner. Their growth is just peak. You go through emotional highs and lows all through. At one moment Scouts are winning and at other they're not. You just have to watch this. | 847 |
