| 4 |  How to find a person's location from a photo using Termux
The metadata stores many interesting things: camera type, phone model, name, changes to the photo, but the most interesting thing is the shooting location. Now I'll show you how to watch it.
Download the required packages
$ apt update && apt upgrade -y && pkg install exiftool -y
We give termux permission to view the device memory
$ termux-setup-storage
We look at the metadata of the photo with which we are in the same directory
$ exiftool filename.jpg
Next, look for the GPS Position item , where we change “deg” to “°”. Next, go to Google Maps and insert the obtained coordinates into the search; as a result, you will receive the exact location where the photo was taken.
If there are no such coordinates, it means the device does not record geolocation in the metadata or it has been deleted
