About the Role
Trio Services is seeking an experienced BO L2 Engineer – PS Core to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring stable Packet Core operations across GSM/UMTS/LTE/VoLTE networks, handling incident analysis, troubleshooting, and maintaining key network performance indicators.
What You Will Do
• Ensure smooth operation of GSM/UMTS/LTE/VoLTE Packet Core Networks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PS Core nodes.
• Maintain network KPIs and address customer complaints.
• Conduct incident analysis and investigation.
• Prepare RCA reports related to configuration, hardware, and software faults.
What You Will Bring
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the PS Core domain.
• Experience with mobile technologies (2G/3G/4G), RAN functions, Core network integration, O&M.
• Strong expertise in Packet Core Nodes: SGSN, GGSN, ePDG/WMG, vEPC (vMME/SGSN, vSGW/PGW).
• Experience with Sandvine / Procera DPI configuration and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of 3GPP call flows, VoLTE, and related technologies.
• Knowledge of network topology and interfaces (S1, S5, S10, S11, Gx, Gy, Ga, etc.).
• Familiarity with GSM, SS7, Sigtran, TCP/IP, S1AP, RANAP, SCCP, SCTP, Iu-PS, BSSGP, GTP, Diameter.
• Knowledge of Linux, Wireshark, and Packet Core certifications is a plus.
• IP Routing & Switching skills are an advantage.
• Cisco EPC knowledge is a plus.

Exciting Opportunity: Mobile Core Network Performance Engineer – Saudi Arabia
Location: Saudi Arabia
Duration: 12-month extendable contract
We're hiring a Mobile Core Network Performance Engineer to join a high-impact project in Saudi Arabia. In this role, you'll monitor and optimize mobile core network performance across CS, PS, IMS, and IN domains, working closely with Ericsson and client teams to drive improvements and ensure KPI targets are met.
Key Responsibilities:
· Analyze and optimize KPIs across CS, PS, IMS, and IN.
· Conduct audits, troubleshoot degradation, and balance resources.
· Deliver performance reports and technical recommendations.
· Support cross-functional teams (Design, Optimization, Projects, Back Office).
· Assess impact of new services, expansions, and software updates.
· Ensure performance during major events (e.g. Hajj, Ramadan).
· Monitor international routes and roaming (MAP/Diameter signaling).
· Develop dashboards, automate reports using SQL, shell scripting, Power BI, Excel.
· Drive SLA compliance and contribute to automation and process improvements.
Technical Environment:
· Systems: Ericsson CS (MSC, MGW, STP, IMS), PS (SGSN-MME, GGSN-PGW), IN (SDP, IVR, AIR)
· Protocols/Interfaces: SS7, SIP, Diameter, BICC, INAP, MAP, ISUP, Iu, S1, Gi, S6a, etc.
· Tools: Anritsu MasterClaw, ENIQ, SAP BO, UNIX shell, SQL, Power BI, Excel
