Northpoint Training Center is a medium-security prison in Burgin, Kentucky (near Danville), operated by the Kentucky Department of Corrections.
The “training” refers to its rehabilitation and reentry programs, including vocational skills like welding/ironworking apprenticeships, substance abuse treatment, and other classes aimed at preparing inmates for release and reducing recidivism.
