He thanks 2.7 for focusing more on self rather than others. He thanks 2.7 for investing into new projects and taking risks. He thanks 2.7 for building such strong momentum for 2.8 to continue. He thanks 2.7 for not allowing past versions to define the now. 2.8 is prepared to continue this legacy. 2.8 is prepared to build even more momentum. 2.8 is prepared to take more risks. 2.8 is prepared to put it all on the line to make sure 2.9 has the best possible chance of success. This is a reflection I like to do each year on my birthday. You see each year you get a chance to upgrade your operating system. Should you choose to observe your previous efforts and have gratitude for the growth while also recognising where your focus can be to do even better, you will see growth. Every year I’m a new person. The same with work-ethic and drive, but different mentality. This is down to experience both with success and most of all hardship! The lessons life teaches you moulds you into someone wiser, more patient, more aware, less emotional and more informed. Never seek to be the same, always strive to be better. Remember- “What we do in this life, echoes in eternity” 🫡
