I recorded a voice note earlier but ended up deleting it because I wasn’t happy with the quality. I had to many things happening today which led my mind to feel cluttered and noisy. It’s important to recognise those moments. How can you operate at your best, specially as a trader if the mind is scattered. The discipline to know when not to be in the markets or when not to take action is heavily missed. It is a skill in itself and is extremely important to have for longevity. I have been on the move since December and my routine has been changing so much. It’s been extremely positives in some areas and also extremely difficult to manage in others. I’m looking forward to having a more structured routine after the last trip to the FX Summit in a couple weeks in Miami. Routine is important. Specially to a trader. Specially to a trader who manages many different roles. Family role, business/job role, friend role, personal health role, personal hobbies etc. It’s important to bring some kind of structure to your day. This will help with efficiency and with discipline. Discipline is something you hear about often. The truth is discipline is a choice.
