As you might have seen the official key for upsc 2026 prelims.
The question paper was unconventional and tough. Many questions were on the higher side of difficulty.
But there were many questions which could be answered from the options given for them, that is , based on the options the questions could be answered,like
Pleistocene Gangetic dolphin,
Sagarmala,
The silk certification,
Vizinjiam port
Mangroves,
Stealth,
Drones and their frequency,
Long term and short term emission reduction,
Green hydrogen,
Lake turkana(a little difficult but could have been handled)
Strait of Hormuz
European Union
Large language models
Genetic medicine
Genome project
Sustainable agriculture
And this list of questions which could be answered, goes a little more,
So I am presuming that if we could have read newspaper and read books and pib, we could have had a good chance of clearing the cut off.
Cut off I feel might be close to 75 plus or minus 3.
So anyone above 75 do start your mains’26 preparation.
