The number of divorces has reached almost 900 on 1000 marriages in Russia, according to Rosstat.

Insect farms are opening across the country as part of the policy of import substitution. Recently the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Denis Manturov called for "educational work" with population in order to "change mentality" about using insects as an edible food source, for example black soldier fly larvae as an alternative to animal meat.

Other proposals include easing the work visa regulations, gambling legalization, the expansion of surveillance, implementation of an AI-based system for monitoring behavior in families, preventing bullying in schools by applying lessons of tolerance and simplifying rules of organ donation and transplantation. The plan was introduced by Russian oligarchs and was heavily promoted by Russian celebs.

Maria Zakharova is not just the spokeswoman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, she is also a songwriter. Recently she wrote a song for the Russian singer Lusia Chebotina. Chebotina became famous a few years ago with a song called "Coming Out" about her love for a gay guy. Here's the video of her performing it on a music festival for middle and high school students in 2020, the event was broadcasted by the music branch of the state-controlled public Channel One.

Trust in the Russian Orthodox Church hits a new low among Muscovites, according to the Institute of Socio-Political Research under the Russian Academy of Sciences. Among those who calls themselves Orthodox 43 percent said that they fully or partly trusted the ROC, among nonbelievers the number is just 5 percent. 28% overall - the lowest numbers in the modern Russian history.

The data show a negative natural population change of 401,600 in January-July of 2022. Births are down 7% as compared to the same period a year ago. Total fertility rate is 1.45 now (the average TFR in the EU is 1.61). Keep in mind that the Muslim-majority regions have the highest birth rates in the country.

Limonov's right hand in the 90s was Slava Mogutin. Mogutin became famous in 1994 after he entered the first gay marriage in Russia (the marriage was declared invalid later). He created the National Bolshevik Party newspaper called Limonka. Later, he became a gay porn producer, filming fetish flicks starring Russian military cadets.
