The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov (included in the list of terrorists and extremists) may leave his post in the near future, Ukrainian media reports.
The new head of military intelligence may be Oleg Ivashchenko, who currently holds the position of head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine.
It is also reported that Budanov will not be sent as an ambassador to another country, as was the case with the former head of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Zaluzhny.
