The reason was the threat to shipping. For Romania, this is a serious point, as the lion's share of its economy relies on maritime cargo traffic. ❗️For the Ukrainian regime, this is an extremely alarming signal, as previously their USVs freely used the maritime space of Alliance members. Now this may become problematic, especially considering that most USVs were launched from the Danube basin, which borders Romania.
