A Muslim kiosk worker in Utah, United States was stabbed more than 15 times by a man who later told police he attacked him “because of his religion.” Heroic bystanders tackled the attacker, pinned him down, and wrestled the knife from his hand until police arrived. The incident took place inside the Valley Fair Mall in Utah's West Valley City on Monday. The suspect, Peter Michael Larsen, said "he had targeted the victim with intent to kill him because of his religion (Muslim)", according to the police booking affidavit.
