The event took place at Forja, featuring an 8-hour set that allowed for a gradual, unhurried build-up with plenty of room to develop. In this 43-minute video, we tried to capture the full experience, from the beginning to the highlights of a night that clearly went from strength to strength. The event started at 7 p.m., and a large crowd had already gathered early on: the line to get in stretched almost a block, though entry was fairly quick. Once inside, the first thing that caught our attention was the musical approach to the start: an ambient sound, somewhat unusual for a Digweed set, but one that fit perfectly with the context and the time of day. For the first two hours, the music stayed along those lines, allowing the dance floor to fill up gradually as the crowd continued to arrive. We positioned ourselves at the front early on, where there was still room to move around comfortably. Around 9:14 PM, a remix of “Escape (Driving to Heaven)” by Omid 16B played, perfectly in line with the atmosphere he had been setting. We stayed there until around 10:20 PM, at which point we decided to take a break to tackle the rest of the night. During that transition, the first signs of a change in the set began to appear, with tracks like a remix of “House of Magic” by Dino Lenny. At 11:13 PM, Chaim’s “Take Me Home” played, marking his third consecutive appearance at Forja, though this time with a more subdued reaction from the crowd. Minutes later, at 11:29 PM, the remix of Air’s “All I Need” came on, a track he’s been playing repeatedly at several recent shows. Around midnight, we returned to the front, where we would stay until the end. With the dance floor now fully packed, the set entered a much more solid and defined phase. Tracks like Guy J’s “Selector” (12:44 a.m.) and a remix of Yazoo’s “Don’t Go” (1:11 a.m.) played, and one of the night’s most intense moments came at 1:33 a.m. with “You & Me” by Danito & Athina featuring Derderwandert, taking the energy into darker, deeper territory. There was also room for tracks like Marco Faraone’s “Hey DJ” in Simón Vuarambon’s remix, material from Kevin Di Serna featuring Cruz Vittor, an ID by Coqueit, and one by Spaceship Dreams. The night closed with Ezequiel Arias’s remix of “Train of Fantastic” by Marvin & Guy, a track that has been appearing in several of his recent sets and already feels like a classic within his recent performances.
