Made on a ₹2 crore budget, the film’s India net collection crossed ₹50–54 crore (gross ~₹64 crore), i.e., roughly 2400%+ return.
After a very weak start (Day 1 ~₹1 lakh; Week 1 ~₹1 crore; Week 2 down to ~₹40 lakh), it saw a dramatic revival in Week 3 with collections jumping to ~₹10.5 crore for that week.
On 1 September, it collected ~₹8.5 crore in a single day, beating big releases like Toxic (~₹8.2 crore that day) and even surpassing the Day-26 collection of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan.

The film is based on the life and spiritual legacy of Neem Karoli Baba (Neem Karori Baba), a 20th-century saint and devotee of Hanuman, with his Kainchi Dham ashram as a key reference point.

Word-of-mouth: viewers recommending it to friends/family and sharing reels/posts drove footfalls.
Smart, low-cost promotion: ground-level outreach focused on the right audience instead of expensive ad campaigns.
Grassroots marketing as a case study
The team did temple visits and ground promotions in Gujarat and Rajasthan (e.g., Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Rajkot; Jodhpur, Jaipur, Udaipur), speaking to devotees and organizing bhandaras to spread awareness.
A devotional song (“Maine Tere Hi Bharose…”) by Sunil Lodhi (a visually impaired singer from Bundelkhand) went viral and acted like a “hit song” for a devotional film, boosting visibility.
It is a “Vocal for Local” style case study: indigenous story (Kainchi Dham/Neem Karoli Baba), local talent, Indian cultural texture in music and messaging, and unconventional marketing.
