5. So much depends on reputation; guard it with your life:
• Be aware of how you're perceived by others and take steps to manage your image.
• Act in a way that reinforces a positive reputation and avoid actions that can damage it.
6. Court attention at all costs:
• Get noticed, be bold, and draw attention to yourself.
• Use publicity and self-promotion to your advantage.
• Use your skills, talents, or appearance to attract attention and create a following.
7. Get others to do the work for you, but always take credit:
• Use your influence and power to get people to do what you want.
• Be strategic about how you use other people's skills and take credit for their achievements.
8. Make other people come to you:
• Make people seek you out and come to you, this will give you the upper hand.
• Use your status, power, or charisma to create a sense of exclusivity.
• People will perceive you as important and valuable if they have to come to you.
9. Win through your actions, never through argument:
• Actions speak louder than words, so focus on what you do, not what you say.
• Use your achievements and accomplishments to demonstrate your value.
• Don't waste time arguing or trying to convince people.
10. Infection: avoid the unhappy and unlucky:
• Stay away from negative and unhappy people as they can bring you down.
• Surround yourself with positive and successful people.
• Don't let the negativity of others affect your own attitude and mindset.
11. Learn to keep people dependent on you:
• Keep people reliant on you by making yourself valuable to them.
• Offer unique skills or knowledge that others need.
• Use your resources or connections to make others feel like they need you.
12. Use selective honesty and generosity to disarm your victim:
• Be honest and generous when it benefits you.
• Use this to gain the trust of others and create a sense of obligation.
• Once you have their trust and goodwill, you can use it to your advantage.
