The Saint-Simonians' interest in credit is clearly evident in the title of the newspaper they founded during the Second Republic: Le Crédit (Credit ). This newspaper took a stand in favor of Louis-Napoleon Bonaparte— Le « crédit des travailleurs » : un aperçu du crédit populaire en France de 1848 à 1914 by Olivier Chaïbi, Pages 13 à 29

NAPOLEON III ON THE DANGERS OF COMPLETE LIBERALIZATION
However, he saw the division of labor resulting from the complete liberalization of trade as dangerous and opposed the "apostles of unlimited free trade [who] have adopted as a principle this axiom: 'To each country its natural product—Napoleon III's economic ideas By Eric Anceau, Pages 21 to 33

NAPOLEON III AGAINST THE MARKET MECHANISM OF UNEMPLOYMENT
To bring about the growth that would lead to progress, Louis-Napoleon, like the Saint-Simonians, was a productivist, firmly believing in a production-based economy and the development of large enterprises and major projects. "To create as much activity as possible, to employ all idle hands," he wrote, "this must be the the primary concern of a government"—Napoleon III's economic ideas By Eric Anceau, Pages 21 to 33

PROTO-MARXIST TENDENCIES OF LOUIS-NAPOLEON
"A true Saturn of labor, industry devours its children and lives only on their death," he also writes. He speaks of the oppression of workers by the owners of the means of production in terms reminiscent of the socialists of the time and even foreshadowing Karl Marx: "Industry needs neither daylight nor space. In a square of a few meters on each side, above and below ground, the manufacturer has a whole people of vassals."—Napoleon III's economic ideas By Eric Anceau, Pages 21 to 33

Konoe Fumimaro’s early engagement with socialism was influenced by Oscar Wilde’s The Soul of Man Under Socialism, which he translated into Japanese as a student. Wilde’s work, emphasizing individual liberation within a socially reformed framework, exposed Konoe to the idea that societal structures could shape human behavior and freedom. While Wilde advocated for emancipation and decentralized authority, Konoe reinterpreted these ideas through state-directed social cohesion and nationalist unity. This helped inform his vision of a highly organized, state-managed society where the collective purpose of the nation outweighed personal liberty, bridging early socialist thought and the authoritarian, corporatist elements of his later fascist ideology. Wilde’s influence was primarily conceptual, providing a vocabulary for understanding the interaction between individuals and society, which Konoe adapted to justify state control, hierarchical authority, and national unity.

🇵🇭An attempt was made on the life of a city mayor in the Philippines.
A projectile hit an escort vehicle, and the assassination attempt failed.

“40 million Americans are about to lose food stamps. This proves socialism is dangerous.”
No. This take is intellectually bankrupt.
“A government that can feed you can starve you” is not a critique of socialism.
It’s a statement about power. And it applies to every system that controls access to resources, including capitalism.
Capitalist governments already decide who eats.
Through wages, prices, rent, benefit cuts and austerity.
If you can’t afford food, you starve.
Capitalism has starved people at scale. Historically and right now.
IMF austerity gutted food systems across the Global South.
In the US, food is destroyed daily while people go hungry on purpose.
That’s how commodity systems work.
The real question is who controls essentials and whether access is guaranteed or conditional.
Socialism says food is a right.
Capitalism says food is a product.
If capitalism is so good at feeding people, why does it need food stamps at all?
Dmitrii Grigor'evich Bogrov was a Ukrainian Jewish lawyer who assassinated Russian prime minister Pyotr Stolypin.
Raised in a wealthy Jewish family in Kyiv, he developed revolutionary socialist views while studying law and joined the Ukrainian anarchist movement. Disillusioned, he became an Okhrana informant monitoring anarchist activity. After graduating, he moved to Saint Petersburg to practice law, partly to escape rising antisemitism. Troubled by pogroms and guilt over his collaboration, he blamed Stolypin and planned his assassination. After failing to gain support from the Socialist Revolutionary Party and facing threats from former anarchist associates, he acted alone. Bogrov warned the Okhrana of an alleged plot, securing access to the Kyiv Opera House, where he shot Stolypin twice. Stolypin died four days later. Bogrov was executed soon after.

he was also, in his mud dled way, a socialist; he did more for the French working classes than any other French government before or since; and when he died a trade union representative was the only man to come from France to his funeral.— "Napoleon III, Man of Destiny: Enlightened Statesman Or Proto-Fascist?" by Brison D. Louis Napoleon's Works are by no means the only source from which may be discovered his early ideals. Many nineteenth-century radicals, who later cursed Napoleon's name, had become convinced in his young days that he was a kindred spirit. Indeed, their bitter denunciations of him after 1851 suggest disillusionment rather than ideological opposition. Shortly after the appearance of the Extinction of Pauperism (1844), Louis Blanc visited the author at Ham. Though on several topics the two con-spirators could not agree, Louis Blanc genuinely felt that Louis-Napoleon's ideas on social reform were little different from his own....— "Napoleon III, Man of Destiny: Enlightened Statesman Or Proto-Fascist?" by Brison D. Yeom Dong-jin ( February 14, 1909 –June 24, 1950)was a Korean far-right militant and independence activist. He was the main founder and leader of the White Shirts Society, a secret fascist terrorist organization Inspired by the Chinese Blueshirts that assassinated several Korean politicians.
Most scholars believe he was also a double-agent for the Japanese Kempeitai. He and the White Shirts Society have been linked to a number of crimes and assassination attempts. This includes an attempt on Kim Il Sung in 1946, the assassination of Lyuh Woon-hyung in 1947, and the assassination of Kim Ku in 1949. However, there are varying degrees of debate on whether he was truly responsible for these actions.

🇺🇲 The US is desperately trying to maintain its empire.
🇨🇳 It lost the trade war with China
🇷🇺 It lost the military war with Russia
🇮🇷 It can't win in a war with Iran
💸 It has over $30 trillion in debt from massive overspending and needs to offset this with some real collateral.
🇻🇪 Venezuela is extremely rich in natural resources - oil, gas, gold and strategic rare earth minerals to name a few.
The US wants these but is unwilling to pay.
Empires in steep decline resort to looting and theft.
🇺🇲 The Third Republic which began in 1945 is coming to an end.

This is the pattern of all inflating empires, this is what rome used to do. Because of the inflating dinar currency, prices would rise, there wasn't enough laborious output to match the inflation so for a thousand years rome delayed the consequences of the inflation crisis by conquering land and resources.
This is the same thing, America has printed more money than all of its history in the last few years, the petro dollar system is collapsing as the BRICS nations build a parallel economy and America has more bases and man power around the world than it can control. Internal division is at an all time high, the legal political system is in a gridlock, this is all that's left. For decades America has mostly taken the liberal world police route of secretly infiltrating nations and funding factions and using economic leverage to force outcomes but we can very well see this bruised beast lashing out from now on and taking the direct interventionist approach everywhere, America won't go down without a fight.
Simón Bolívar’s view of the United States wa suspicion and respect sharpened by fear. He studied the American Revolution as a proof that colonies could break empires, that a people could throw off a crown and build a republic. To Bolívar, the U.S. was a successful experiment showing that independence was possible. But lighthouses also cast long shadows, and Bolívar noticed that too.
What troubled him was the same republic that preached liberty expanded relentlessly, pushed borders outward, and justified domination through the language of freedom. Bolívar saw this as a contradiction baked into the system with Freedom at home, coercion abroad and Republican forms masking imperial instincts. In his letters, he warned that the United States seemed destined to plague the Americas with misery, all while claiming moral superiority.
Trump’s latest actions against Venezuela, framed as defending democracy and freedom, land squarely inside Bolívar’s warning.
