my rcfl interview experience date 22 jan 2021 they call one by one name of each candidate at 7 am and entry done just after entry instructions for dv started. alongwith dv breakfast given. after that dv done. then one by one they call for interview. after entry in interview room there was a panel of 6 person and a table, chair and mike in center . first question tell me about urself. why there is gap after b.tech. what do u know about steam turbine. how it is controlled. what is compounding of steam turbine. what do u know about threads. what are the types of threads. what is difference between acme and square thread. what is angle of v thread. what was ur final yr project. (and some questions on project like concept etc.) what machines do u expect in fully automated plants.(i told them cnc bt they just interrupted and said machines in companies like rcfl). what is stress. what is strain. what is hooks law. what is meaning of M, 16, and 1.5 in bolt designation M16*1.5. what is the value of 1 atm pressure in psi. tell me about ur family. what is ur hobbies.(i told traveling and novel reading then they asked where have u traveled till now) my home district is jalaun so they asked how why ur district named 'jalaun'. overall interview was lite and chill. penal members and dv staff was supportive.

RCFL interview experience Post: Management Trainee (Mechanical) For 48 posts 336 (1:7 ratio) candidates were called. Interview was held from 14 th January to 24th January 2021. Mine interview was on 19 th January. Interview was of about 20 minutes Following questions were asked: Q1. Introduce yourself. Q2. Why do you want to join RCFL? Q3. Why do you think PSU/Government jobs are better than private jobs? (This was follow up question to my previous answer) Q4. About my previous job experience as I had 1.5 yrs of job experience in cement industry after my college. Q5. What are the types of welding? Q6. What is TIG welding? How is it in comparison to normal arc welding? Q7. How welding rods are classified? Explain the meaning of welding rod E7018? Q8. Can you tell few types of bearings? What does bearing number mean for ex. 6108? Q9. What is the material of upper layer of bearing? Q10. Few general questions about my home town & state ie Jharkhand.

My RCFL Interview Experience (Mechanical): RCFL - Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Limited (A Mini - Ratna Category PSU under Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers of the Government of India) Timeline of Events: 29-06-2020 = Application Registration Starts 15-07-2020 = Application Registration Ends 01-11-2020 = Online Exam (Initially scheduled on 16-08-2020 but postponed due to Covid Issue) 01-01-2021 = Result of Online Exam 19-01-2021 = Personal Interview 30-01-2021 = Result of Personal Interview 10-02-2021 = Medical Test 17-03-2021 = Received Offer Letter (Joining is to be done within a month from the date of receiving offer letter) Date : 19-01-2021 Reporting Time : 07.00AM Venue : RCF Guest House, Chembur, Mumbai Total Vacancy is 48 for Mechanical, so 341 candidates (a ratio of 1:7) were called for the interview on different dates. On my interview day, around 50 candidates were called and document verification + interview is conducted on the same day for these 50 candidates. Initially, it started with document verification by 07.00AM which lasted till 10.30AM (meanwhile breakfast & lunch is provided to all candidates at free of cost). Then interview process started and one by one, candidates were interviewed till evening. My turn came around 03.45PM. Panel was very friendly and supportive. Even if we are unable to answer, they will try to give clues so that we can figure out the solution Panel Members - 6 Nos 1 Female, 5 Male Interview Duration : Around 10 - 13 Minutes for each candidate 1) Tell me about yourself 2) What do u know about RCF 3) How many units are there in RCF 4) What are the raw materials required for production of fertilizers 5) What are the Mechanical equipments you expect to find in RCFL (I have done in-plant training from pump industry, so questions were asked from that) 6) What are products that company manufactures 7) Working principle of Centrifugal Pump 8) Name of the pump which is immersed in water along with motor 9) If I use a fluid which is having low vapour pressure, how can I use a Centrifugal pump to pump this fluid 10) Performance Characteristics Curves of Centrifugal Pump (Power vs RPM, Head vs RPM, Discharge vs RPM, Efficiency vs RPM) 11) Affinity Laws of Centrifugal Pump (My project is on heat exchangers , so questions were asked from that) 12) Explain about your project 13) If we increase the pressure of the flowing fluid, then what should be done to the tube thickness, should the tube thickness increase or decrease 14) If we increase the temperature of hot fluid inlet (for eg: earlier the hot fluid inlet temperature was 200°C but now it is increased to 400°C), what modifications should be done so that the exit temperature is same in both the cases 15) Famous Things about my hometown 16) Why u choose RCFL , why not NLCIL (since I'm from neyveli, this question was asked) 17) Have u written NLC Exam (since NLC Exam and RCFL are conducted during the same month and both are recruiting Mechanical Engineers, so this question was asked) 18) What are ur hobbies Final Result Status : Selected Results Declared on Jan 30, 2021 #rcfl #rcflmechanical #rcflmanagementtrainee #rcflmtmech #rcflmtmechanical #rcflinterview #rcflinterviewexperience
