My BARC interview Experience.. 1.thete are two tanks.. one tank has full of water at 100 C and other tank has full of ice at 0 C. and two tank s are connected by solid rod of thermal conductivity k and length L.. now find out the final temp of water.. Case : 1 if both tanks are open to atmosphere. Case : 2 if entire tanks is insulated 2. There is one deep well and one water bubble present at bottom of the well..now tell me the velocity of bubble.. and draw graphs velocity vs height and velocity vs time 3. There are one solid sphere of 10 kg and solid sphete of 5kg both are at 100 C and at same ambuent conditions now tell me which one cools faster. 4. There is one horizontal rod and we are applying tensile force F in both sides.. now draw the deflections vs length graph.. the length of rod is constant.. 5. One brass and steel rod are attached parallely to the top of wall of same length L.. and at the bottom of rod we attached horizontal plate and wr are applying force P at length of x from left side..now tell me where we need to apply force to become plate is horizontal..

Sail interview experience GD and gt were around 1.5 hr and pretty smooth, you will get time to put your points GD - consist of two tasks -Group discussion on a given topic -Arrange the given task bases on priority (First individual then with group) In GT- a case study was given First we have to put our individual points for 2 min, then discuss in the grp Interview:- About Wasn't going deep in topics just touching the surface Extrusion, forming, metallurgy (few followups), thermodynamics, rankine cycle, factor of safety(fos in lift), stress vs pressure Some random questions like- Why psu or govt job? Why want to join sail? What you do in free time? What is your goal in life? Few followups like, what's happiness, why want to earn money, why not work now to earn, (that totally depends on how you answer
