🚨 BANKROLL MANAGEMENT / UNIT SIZE CHANCES 🚨 I want to take a moment to address some essential aspects of our wagering strategy, particularly concerning unit size and risk management. As we move forward with the new changes and Kyle (B3 Bets) coming on board, it's crucial to ensure that our wagering aligns with your risk tolerance and long-term goals. Most of you are probably wagering too high of a % of your bankroll as a unit since there hasn't been much variance in my units per selection in the past, so ask yourself this... If we were to lose a 8U play will that ruin your day or keep you up at night? If 8x your current unit for 1 play and it doesn't hit, will this affect you mentally and or be to large of a loss to swallow? If so, then you need to scale back on what % of your bankroll you use for 1 unit. As a general guideline, each unit (U) should ideally represent between 0.5% to 2% of your bankroll, depending on individual risk preferences. If your on a longer durational package I would advise using a smaller % of BR as your unit. If your on a short term package like a week or day pass and are trying to flip some cash quick, then feel free to use a higher % of BR as your unit. For reference ($1K aka 1 Unit) is a little more than a 1/2% of my personal bankroll. It's essential to recognize that there will be increased variance in our wager sizes moving forward. Therefore, I urge everyone to carefully consider the following points: Long-Term Perspective: Our approach to wagering should reflect a marathon mindset rather than a sprint. It's crucial to assess whether your current unit size is appropriate for sustained success. Adjusting Unit Size: If a 5-10-unit play would significantly impact your financial comfort or risk tolerance, it may be prudent to lower your unit size accordingly. Standard Wager Sizes: The majority of our standard regular plays will range between 1 to 2.5 units, while our regular season max bets typically fall within the 3 to 5 unit range. Special Occasions: Larger bets, ranging from 6 to 10 units, will be reserved for significant events such as "Big Stage Games" NFL, NBA, MLB playoffs, Super Bowl, CBB championship games, CBB Bowl games etc.. Additionally, I want to remind everyone that our annual package includes access to all wagers across all sports. However, for those interested, we will also offer the option to purchase individual 5 to 10-unit plays separately.
