It is okay to say I don’t know, but it is not okay to cheat We had a cheating candidate today. It was fun detecting how he was cheating, and pretending we had no clue. We let him keep cheating, and let him go with good mood thinking he has passed. Then, we reported him, and “almost” got him blocklisted (Good for him, we don’t have “blocklist” feature yet😂). Another candidate passed the interviews, he said he does not know certain topics, some of which were quite crucial. He got an offer (for a less senior role). And a note on his scorecard read “he is honest with what he does not know, shows strong potential to learn”. Cheating does not help, being honest might… At least you will have better chances if you are honest🙃

Study time!!!📚 I have been learning Modern Standard Arabic (Fus’ha) Here is a list of useful sources: 1) Arabicpod101 (website) - dialogue based lessons with cultural information about Arab Countries. Seems like Arabic version of BBC podcast for English language learners. 2) AlifBee (app) - very good for Fus’ha. Does not add any dialects in the lessons. Honestly, I am addicted to this app. Use my referral to get a 1 week premium version: 9JRAEA (create an account, go to settings -> redeem coupon) 3) “My Arabic Class” (Youtube) - short stories using MSA with info about the usage of new words. 4) Mabda’ul Qiroat (book, only in uzbek language) - Good for vocabulary building, but I find it difficult to follow as it focuses on vocab & writing & grammar mostly. 5) Bayyinah (Nouman Ali Khan’s courses) - for nahv and sarf mostly. Quite complicated, but very useful. He brings examples from the Qur’an, making it very interesting. What about you? What have you been studying?
