unavailable.rsrch david gilmour, the lead guitarist and singer for pink floyd, asking a street musician named igor sklyarov to play glass harmonica for the ambient sounds on "shine on you crazy diamond" on stage after hearing him play in the street in venice, italy. this footage is sourced from "coming back to venice" (on an island tour documentary) from david gilmour's solo tour which started in march and ended in august of 2006. this tour spanned 33 shows and most famously features the show in gdańsk shipyard, poland which was later turned into an album "live in gdańsk" seriously just imagine being offered to be paid to play with one of the greatest bands. being asked this by one of the greatest musicians of all time would be beyond surreal.
