Test me in this," says the Lord Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it. MALACHI 3:10-11 (NIV). THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To release towards God is to access the unfinishable wealth of the Kingdom, and to withhold from God is to be denied access to Kingdom wealth. Our anchor Scripture reveals that God would open the floodgates of heaven to pour His abundant blessings upon those who release towards Him. Now, I want to tell you the story of two kingdom billionaires who released towards God and were massively blessed by God, until there was no room enough to contain their wealth. One of such men was Henry P. Crowell. He was the owner and founder of Quaker Oats. One day, Henry P. Crowell made a covenant with God after listening to the preaching of D.L Moody. He told God, “Oh God, I cannot be a preacher like D. L Moody, but I can be a good business man. God, if you will bless me with money, I will use it for your service.” When God saw the sincerity of his heart, He answered his prayer and made him a wealthy man. For more than 40 years, he gave between 60 – 70% of his income to God’s causes, and God continued to bless him abundantly. But he started with the initial ten percent called the Tithe. Another person massively blessed by God was John D. Rockefeller. He was the founder of Standard Oil in the United States of America. He was the first dollar billionaire in the history of that country, and probably in the history of the world. He tithed from the first one dollar and continued for the rest of his life. One year, he gave his church, the sum of one hundred and twenty million dollars for the building of the church’s University. After the giving, journalists came and asked him, “Why are you giving so much money to the church?” He responded, “God gave it to me; I am giving it back to God, what is your challenge?” Beloved, let no one deceive you; to release towards God is to access the unfinishable wealth of the Kingdom, and to withhold from God is to be denied access to Kingdom wealth. I decree that as you begin the second half of the year today, the God who preserved you from the beginning of the year till now, will make you see the end of this year and beyond, in Jesus’ Name. In our study today, we shall consider the Preservation and Judgemental Power of God. Sometime ago, our Church pastor in Benin Republic testified about the Preservation and Judgemental Mantle of God at work in the Dunamis Commission. In Benin Republic, there is a wealthy man who had a witch doctor as his fetish priest. All of sudden, this wealthy man began to have encounters with God. In a dream of the night, he saw four native doctors trying to throw him into a big burning fire, and then he heard a voice, “Only Jesus can save you”. When he woke up, he narrated the revelation to our pastor who led him in a prayer of surrender to Jesus Christ. Please, help me look after my wife and children when I am dead”. Then the pastor took the anointing oil that was blessed in this Commission, and said to the man, “My father in the Lord, Dr (Pastor) Paul Enenche gave me this oil from Abuja, Nigeria. I am going to anoint you now, and it shall be to the native doctor according to what he wished you.” The pastor anointed the man for preservation, and three days after, the native doctor died.
