| 2 | we’re gearing up for our dance – tomorrow at Studio dB!
for those that haven’t been there, it’s a beautiful location / venue used for some of our favourite events in the city, tucked away in walking distance from s-bahn stations wedding / gesundbrunnen or u-bahn station pankstraße.
we gathered there for our Record Release Celebration in november and can’t wait to be back. on that note, we’ll have very limited copies of SHUSH Vol. 1 – as well as t-shirts – available to buy.
reminder that the dance kicks off in the afternoon – 4pm. we’ll have food available on site.
sharing here one last musical impression: our guest Viktor Roshu recorded a special show for our takeover at Refuge Worldwide last year. it’s a fierce cruise through different genres – we’re excited to have him join us tomorrow.

after an exhilarating end to last year – including the release of our very first sonic artifact, the compilation 'SHUSH Vol. 1‘ – we’re back to keep it moving with our first dance of 2025.
Gathering at the beloved stomping grounds of Studio dB again, we’re dusting off our sound system to welcome you to another day-into-night affair. Our guests this time are not so much guests as they’ve been part of our fam for a long time – and we’re thrilled to be welcoming them in the booth on February 1st.
Originally from Los Angeles and arriving in Berlin via Brussels, Paulita has been showcasing her soulful style at various spots in the city, and through her sets on Kiosk Radio. Two years ago we had her join us for our stage at Gaswerk Art Days festival, where she spun us out when she dropped the freaky underground club anthem „Micro Wave Boogie“ early on, setting the tone for the night.
Playing alongside her is Viktor Roshu, who served up a very personal & uplifting selection at our Refuge Worldwide radio takeover last year, which was one of our highlights. We’re looking forward to seeing these two selectors share their musical bond and joy through the records that will be played.
Our own Ken Okuda will take care of the rest of the musical agenda – stretching out in the usual fashion while keeping the groove rolling. Doors open at 4pm, alongside musical nourishment we’ll have food to serve, plus there’ll be a limited supply of records and merch to grab (come early!).
As we’re trying to keep the dance as accessible as possible, we’re offering two pre-sale tickets this time: A discounted one, as well as a 'supporter‘ ticket at a slight extra cost to help us throw these functions sustainably. Extra income will go to the artists directly – we appreciate your support if you can afford it.

it’s been a busy year for us – we had some incredible guests at our gatherings (who is down for a DJ Spinna reunion??), conceptualised and brought together our first release and more than ever felt the support and love from our extended family. we couldn't have it without you and we keep on doing it because it resonates with you. a big thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
we’re taking this time to reflect and think about our role in this ever-changing musical & cultural landscape. throwing on events and putting out music isn’t by any means an easy thing to do – the sweat (& sometimes tears) involved is real. but we count ourselves among the fortunate ones that are able to do so, and believe there’s a responsibility to what we do. we hope the effects of our efforts to elevate spirits & minds, shine a light on artists and their work, and carry togetherness out into the world are felt.

| 11 | what’s up y‘all. pointing you here to a sweet event hosted by our friends of Smoothin Groovin tomorrow night at Grüner Salon / Volksbühne in berlin.
as some of you might remember, we did a beautiful winter gathering with them at the same spot last year in december. now they’re back, featuring – amongst others – MC Mad-X from London on the mic, and Ronja + the Smoothin Groovin family providing lush sounds.
expect many familiar faces and good energy on the (wooden!) dancefloor.

They’re back 🤫 After selling out our initial run on the night of our Record Release Celebration two weeks ago, we decided to do another batch for everyone looking to get their hands on a shirt to commemorate our inaugural release.
Screen printed in Berlin, they’re made out of heavyweight (240g/m2) fabric with an incredibly soft touch, featuring a slightly oversized / loose cut (for a fit that is more true so size, choose one smaller).
We’ll have this batch made to order – if you would like one, e-mail us with your preferred size (S – 2XL) and your location till Dec 10th and we’ll be back in touch with payment details. Price is 30€ plus shipping (roughly 5 – 10€ depending on your location), pick-up in Berlin is possible as well.
