Urgent Bangladesh Floods Appeal Torrential rains have once again unleashed devastating floods and landslides across Bangladesh. Large parts of the country have been deluged, including the Rohingya camps built on fragile hillsides in Cox’s Bazar. Ummah Welfare Trust has launched an urgent appeal to provide food to families in the worst-affected areas. Your Zakat, Sadaqah and Lillah can help save lives. Donate today! bit.ly/Bangladesh-Floods 01204 661030

Roughly one in three people in Malawi lacks access to clean water. To relieve the distress, Ummah Welfare Trust has built over 100 wells across the country's central region in the past year. Over 40,000 people now have safe, clean water, alhamdulillah. The charity plans to build 120 more wells in the next year, but needs your help. Just £1,700 can build a well and provide clean water to hundreds. Donate today. uwt.org

Secure a Legacy for a Late UWT Volunteer https://www.justgiving.com/page/ilm-orchard-190 Sister Shebina was one of Ummah Welfare Trust’s earliest volunteers in Birmingham. For over a decade, she strove to help the poor and needy, always being among the first to bake for charity events, assist on fundraising days and rally others to support the cause. Sadly, she passed away earlier this week after suffering a brain haemorrhage. May Allah have mercy on our sister. May He forgive her sins, accept all her efforts, contributions and sacrifices, elevate her rank and grant her the highest abode in Jannah. Help establish a legacy of sadaqah jariyah on her behalf by donating towards the construction of a well in her name.

REPORT: Ummah Welfare Trust spent over £8 million on relief programmes in June 2026, alhamdulillah. Major programmes have continued in Gaza, Afghanistan and elsewhere. Read the charity’s detailed report to learn more about the relief projects being delivered. uwt.org 01204 661030

VIDEO: Mothers in Gaza have endured the death of their children, their menfolk and their homes. How will we answer Allah for leaving them beholden to their oppressors for so long? See this week’s story of a widowed mother and her children in Gaza, who were helped by your donations to Ummah Welfare Trust. Our aid will not return their father, but it can help revive our dead hearts and bring hope to Muslims left abandoned by the world. uwt.org

VIDEO: Your donations to Ummah Welfare Trust reached a dear brother, Abdullah Al-Hindi, in Gaza City this week. Abdullah is a father who is mute due to disability and has a daughter with special needs. His children’s happiness has been stolen by fear, poverty and homelessness. Today is the day of 'Ashura: a day on which Allah gave victory to Musa alayhis-salaam and his followers, despite facing overwhelming odds. We ask Allah on this day to grant a similar illustrious victory to Gaza and its steadfast residents. uwt.org 01204 661030

Today is the day of 'Ashurah (10th Muharram), الحمد لله On this virtuous day, Allah gave victory to Musa 'alayhis-salaam and his followers, despite being vastly outnumbered, over the tyrant Pharaoh and his people. Allah will grant victory to the righteous who support His cause; He will fulfill their wishes and never betray them. And He says (as translation), “Indeed, We will support Our Messengers and those who believe during the life of this world and on the Day when the witnesses will stand.” (Surah Ghafir, 51). We ask Allah on this day, when the believers fast like Musa fasted out of gratitude to his Lord, to correct our affairs; make us from those who are righteous; and assist the Ummah like He did the Ummah of Musa.

A UK delegation of ulama visited Ummah Welfare Trust's medical programmes in Syria's Idlib province, alhamdulillah. See how your generous donations are helping under-resourced hospitals here provide free services. http://uwt.org
