Today, instead of English, we will have an entertaining maths lesson. Refresh the following vocabulary: clothes, food, animals in an unusual way. The task is suitable for practicing words during learning, and it will also be a great way to keep fast finishers busy for a couple of minutes. The puzzles are presented in the form of examples, where you need to "subtract" some letters from one word, and "add" some to get the answer, and then match the word and the appropriate picture. After completing the task, invite the children to come up with the same "examples" for each other. Get it here for free.

Do you remember the days when emojis didn't have faces and were just dots, commas, dashes, parentheses, and letters? Surprise your teenagers with an unusual task involving old emojis. Have them try to connect them with definitions, and then, by drawing the icon first, make up sentences with them, imagining that they are writing a response to a friend's message. Perhaps these emojis are not as outdated as they seem, and your students may know some more. This is a great way to discuss not only the emotions, but also how the appearance of emojis has changed in modern messengers. The most appetizing topic that everyone loves is, of course, Food! Looking at the shadows, ask your students to guess what the parents packed their children for lunch. Maybe Mary and Max don't even know themselves). Divide students into pairs. 1. They read the words together, checking and correcting each other. 2. Then they match the words with the numbers. 3. They make up and write sentences using the key phrase "Mary/Max has got .... for lunch." 4. Time to play and practice speaking. One person describes, the other guesses - Mary has got something orange for lunch. Is it an orange? No, it isn't. Is it a carrot? Yes, it is. Then they switch roles. A simple and functional template for teaching “Places”, revising prepositions of place and, if necessary, drilling giving directions, so that your students can easily talk about their hometown (where the sightseeings/places are located) and even give excursions to tourists. The file includes several towns (they are all different) or students can create their own projects - "My dream town" in class or at home by cutting and pasting the buildings they like into an empty template and coming up with the names of their towns. The students work in pairs or mini groups. They take turns presenting their projects, and then introduce themselves as lost tourists and ask how to get from point A to point B. The rest try to help, giving directions. Get the FILE FOR FREE here. More about prepositions: - Prepositions of Place 7in1 (On In At): VK or TPT - Prepositions Games: VK or TPT

A fun and easy task to practice various tenses. All you need is this editable template (which you can complete yourself, typing the necessary verbs, coming up with famous characters, places and time) and 2 dice. Divide the students into pairs or mini groups of 3-4 people. Each pair/group will need 2 dice and a table filled with the information (see the photo). Children take turns rolling both dice at the same time, choose the appropriate parts of the sentence and make up funny sentences orally or in written form. For example, they have: 7,3,9,12 – The Queen cooks on the beach every Thursday. How to make spelling more fun and learning the key vocabulary more effective? The solution is simple - to involve students in the process of creating the tasks. Children concentrate on spelling and remember the words better. They adore creating complicated tasks for their partners. The more difficult, the better! In addition, this is a great homework if you need your kids to prepare for the dictation or just repeat the words. A small life hack: first have the students place the key words in the grid, and only then all the empty squares are filled with any other letters. 📥 Download it FOR FREE here.

Checkers 5in1 PowerPoint Presentation includes 5 boards with which your students can work out various vocabulary (animals, appearance, professions, food and action verbs), as well as revise and consolidate a huge number of grammar constructions. The game can be both used online and offline. The rules are easy! To make a move, the player must name what is in the square, or make up a sentence with this word/picture. If the answer is correct, the player moves to the checker, if incorrect, it remains on the spot and the opponent moves. The detailed rules you will find in the help section (?). Teach farm and wild animals to curious kids using shadows. Read all the words in the word box all together. Then, in pairs, the kids write numbers next to the words, help each other, and check. Next, each student works independently and writes short sentences with the grammar structure which you practice. This could be: It is/ There is/ Billy has got/ A rooster lives on the farm/ A pig is the second, etc. Return to the same task for the next lesson. The children are now practicing speaking in pairs or mini groups. One person sees the entire worksheet, and the others bend their sheets so that only the picture remains. The leader asks: What is number 3? The rest must find the animal in the picture and name it. Whoever named it correctly first gets a point. Then they swap roles. You can work with wild animals in the same way. Grab the file here for free. More about animals: VK or TPT
