We received some crushing news today, that our dear friend, and founding member of WakeUpéiRe, Pat Warde (Wardie) has passed on to the next realm. We are all devastated at his passing, Pat was one of those very rare men who could sit with prince or pauper, and not change who he was. Pat has fought in our corner many times, and he always encouraged us to keep going, no matter how hard the task seemed to be. I personally went to him many times with my woes, and he always supported me, and gave a real sense of purpose when i needed to be picked up. The WakeUpéiRe volunteers are once again heart broken, at the passing of a key figure in our lives, and we ask the GOD source to mind us in the coming days. We offer our condolences to the Warde family at this time. If he meant so much to us, we can only imagine what he meant to those closest to him. Funeral and wake details will be announced in the coming days. GOD bless you Wardie, you have done your part in lighting the fire under many of us. We will fight on❤️
