Ruins of a Doukhobor prayer home near Kamsack, Saskatchewan, Canada. The Doukhobors didn’t build churches as such but they did construct prayer houses where they would hold Sunday prayer meetings ("Molenyie"), sing traditional songs and recite psalms. Some of these prayer houses are now museums and others were abandoned.

The Koch was a traditional Russian sea sailing and rowing vessel that was used by the Pomors and Siberian industrialists during the 11th to 19th centuries. Kochi was originally built without the use of metals. The ship frames were attached to the outer skin with juniper whips or hemp ropes. They were equipped with a mast, mounted rudder and oars. Two-masted vessels are also known. In the Arkhangelsk region, sudas, shnyaks and kochmars were sewn together not with nails, but with needles made of juniper roots, so sudas, shnyaks and kochmars were also called vichankas. The ship's hull resisted compression in the ice. The name "koch" is associated with the word "kotsa" - an ice coat, that is, the second ice skin of the ship. It was distributed in the Russian North and Siberia. Initially, Kochi was built by Pomors. Later, the construction of kochi began beyond the Urals. In the XVII century, they began to be built in Yeniseysk.

Evdokia Panova was a Russian naive artist who made tapestries. Evdokia was born in the village of Nokshino, Vologda region. She was engaged in needlework from the very childhood, but peasant work, and then family troubles, did not allow her to devote enough time to weaving to show her talent. In 1972, trouble came to the house-the youngest son died. Her grief was so great that Evdokia did not see or hear anyone, and, in her own words, she would have gone mad if she had not occupied herself with something that required constant and painstaking work. A life-saving activity was nearby - a loom and colorful balls prepared for rugs. The pain prompted creativity. Evdokia Vasilyevna stayed up late at the loom and wove: first traditional geometric patterns and flowers, and then gradually the drawing became more complicated, until she brought her work to the creation of large, complex compositions. From under her hands came out not just rugs - live, talking stories that attract the eye.

The Golovodets is a traditional Russian headdress in the form of an arc-shaped crown which was worn in the Velsky district of the Arkhangelsk province and in the Totemsky district of the Vologda province. Originally, during the 18th century and the first half of the 19th century, the Golovodets was worn by unmarried girls but in the the second half of the 19th century, it was worn strictly during the wedding, often being worn over a borushka, a women's headdress. A silk shawl was then thrown on top, which covered part of the girl's face. The Golovodets was made from several layers of birch bark, pasted over with a canvas. Its front side was completely sewn up with gold thread. The golden thread was superimposed on thick cords that formed a pattern, which made the pattern seem to be embossed on metal. From the other side, the headdress was sheathed with an elegant heel or chintz. The back side was decorated with ribbons and a wide blade of silk fabric, which descended along the back.
