We all know not to keep any crypto on exchanges right..
Right?
You absolutely know better, so if you're still one of those peeps out there keeping a bag on an exchange. It's probably time to do what you know you should have done a long time ago and put that stash on a cold wallet before things get out of hand and you get caught with your pants down still chasing the farmers daughter. The storm is coming, time to batten down.

CBDC vs ABDC
It’s always been a topic talked about. Trump ensured the US will not have a controlled currency. The people’s “money” will not (and should not) be controlled by the government to where they can “turn your spending powers off” at their discretion because they didn’t like something you said on social media.
It’s sad for the people in China that the CCP is advancing in the direction of CBDCs keeping them suppressed. But when the entire world suddenly has choices… does that control continue to exist?
The US is leading the way in literally saving and freeing the world.

Why does Trump want the Clarity Act so badly? The answer isn't in crypto.
Trump made a statement a few days ago.
He said they're way ahead of China and all other countries in the crypto space, and they want to stay ahead. He added that the only missing piece is the passage of a law called the Clarity Act.
Everyone thought this was a crypto statement. But what Trump was really talking about was the future of the dollar.
So, what is this Clarity Act?
For years in the US, the rules for crypto have been unclear.
No one knew for sure whether a cryptocurrency counts as a stock or a commodity. Two separate agencies, overlapping authorities, endless lawsuits.
Because of this uncertainty, many companies either couldn't operate or fled overseas.
The Clarity Act ends this mess.
It clarifies which agency will regulate which cryptocurrency under which rules. Its name literally means clarity.
So why does a president care so much about a seemingly ordinary regulatory law? The answer isn't in the law—it's in the dollar itself.
The world's money has been the dollar for 80 years. Oil is sold in dollars, countries hold their reserves in dollars, payments flow through the dollar system.
Since everyone needs dollars, they stockpile dollars and US Treasuries.
But now money is going digital. And right here is where dollar-pegged cryptocurrencies—stablecoins—come into play.
A stablecoin is always worth 1 dollar because it's backed one-to-one by actual dollars and US Treasuries.
When someone in Germany, Japan, or Turkey loads this money onto their phone, they've effectively held dollars without needing a US bank. This way, the dollar enters billions of pockets at internet speed.
And there's more.
As these currencies grow, the companies issuing them have to buy even more US Treasuries. Today, Tether alone holds over $120 billion in US Treasuries.
That makes it one of the world's largest Treasury holders—more than Germany.
In other words, the dollar stablecoin is a double win for the US. It spreads the dollar worldwide while creating a massive buyer for America's debt.
With all this money in play, a fight broke out within the US.
Banks on one side, crypto exchanges on the other.
The banks' fear is obvious.
If stablecoins pay interest, people will pull their money from banks and move it there. The bank loses its most valuable asset: cheap deposits.
After long negotiations, a compromise was found. Paying interest on idle stablecoins was banned, but usage-based rewards were allowed.
The banks weren't happy about that either—they sent over 8,000 objection letters to Senate offices.
The bill has now passed the Senate Banking Committee. But it still has a few hurdles to clear before it makes it through the full Senate and becomes law.
And that's why Trump is saying just let the Clarity Act pass.
Now let's look at the big picture.
The US and China have chosen two completely opposite paths for the money of the future.
The US banned a state digital currency. It left the job to dollar stablecoins issued by private companies. The government just sets the rules—and that rulebook is the Clarity Act.
China is doing the opposite. It's nationalizing money, issuing the digital yuan directly from the state, and overseeing every transaction. The goal is to build a world independent of the dollar and SWIFT.
Two opposing models, but the same aim: to become the global money of the future.
So when Trump says let's stay ahead of China in crypto, he's not really talking about a tech race. He's defending a throne.
That's why the Clarity Act isn't just any ordinary law.
It's America's move to carry the dollar into the digital world. China is trying the same thing with its own currency.
The issue isn't crypto.
The issue is which currency will rule the digital world.

People still don't realize and understand what we mean when we tell them "it all comes to Stellar".
RWA or Real World Assets are EVERYTHING out there, not just stocks and metals. We are essentially going to inventory the entire planet onto the blockchain. Verifiable, trackable/traceable, accountable.. with all needed contracts, titles, and associated paperwork attached to the tokens with soroban contracts. If it exists, its going to be "on the books".

Tokenized cows just backed a farm loan on Brazil's stock exchange
Ten dairy cows in Paraná became the first tokenized livestock collateral on B3, Brazil's stock exchange, backing a loan worth about $19,400. Each cow carries a digital ID generated from AI sensor collars tracking its health in real time.
Banks usually cut up to 60% off livestock collateral because they can't verify an animal is even alive. Live monitoring removes that discount just as Brazil's farm bankruptcies have nearly quadrupled since 2023.
Cowmed already monitors 100,000 cows worth around $395M and projects a fifth could be pledged within two years, stretching RWA tokenization from T-bills into working farm animals.

A glimpse of the future of Velo?
1 Velo equal to 120 USDV which is anchored to the dollar.
Velo will become a store of value. A liquidity pool so to speak. Eventually, it might not even be available to trade or buy. Only a staking option if you hold it. Very similar to what they believe will happen with XRP.
