🇬🇧 SUMY LEGIONNAIRE — DANYLO DMITROVICH ZACHESOV. CALLSIGN «SHUT» Born on September 1, 2006, in Donetsk. He attended school in Khartsyzsk until the 2nd grade and practiced acrobatics. In 2014, due to the war, his family was forced to move to the village of Malyi Vystorop in the Sumy region. He continued his education at a local school and developed an interest in drawing and woodcarving. He was a calm, kind child. He studied at the "Shag" Computer Academy and dreamed of becoming a programmer. At the same time, he trained to become an electrician and welder at Vocational School No. 16 in Sumy. When the full-scale invasion began, he was at home and endured the occupation of his village. In 2023, he joined the Sumy branch of Centuria. To get to training, he walked 14 km from his village to the train station every time. He proved himself to be decisive and determined, and was a reliable comrade. At age 17, he expressed a desire to join the ranks of the 3rd Assault Brigade and began actively preparing to enlist in the army. On May 26, 2025, he joined the 3rd Assault Brigade as part of the reconnaissance platoon of the 2nd Mechanized Battalion. He took part in combat operations in the Kharkiv sector, where he carried out missions in the settlements of Novosergiivka, Tverdokhlibove, and Novoplatonivka. He served as commander of the reconnaissance team on multiple occasions. He distinguished himself through his high level of professional training, attention to detail, and ability to quickly assess the situation, make rapid decisions, and read the terrain. Thanks to his skills, the team was able to carry out successful strikes and mop-up operations on numerous occasions. On January 12, 2026, Shut engaged the enemy near the village of Tverdokhlibove in Luhansk Oblast, eliminating an enemy sabotage group. As a result of the battle, he went missing in action, remaining forever faithful to his duty, his ideals, and the struggle for a Great Ukraine.

Mehrfach fungierte er als Kommandeur des Aufklärungsteams. Er zeichnete sich durch seine hervorragende fachliche Ausbildung, seine Liebe zum Detail sowie seine Fähigkeit aus, die Lage schnell einzuschätzen, rasche Entscheidungen zu treffen und das Gelände zu lesen. Dank seiner Fähigkeiten gelang es dem Team mehrfach, erfolgreiche Angriffe und Säuberungsoperationen durchzuführen. Am 12. Januar 2026 griff Shut den Feind in der Nähe des Dorfes Tverdokhlibove im Gebiet Luhansk an und schaltete eine feindliche Sabotagegruppe aus. Infolge des Gefechts wurde er im Einsatz vermisst, wobei er seiner Pflicht, seinen Idealen und dem Kampf für eine große Ukraine für immer treu blieb.

ЛЕГІОНЕР СУМ — ЗАЧЕСОВ ДАНИЛО ДМИТРОВИЧ. ДРУГ «ШУТ» Народився 01.09.2006 у м. Донецьк. Навчався в м. Харцизьк до 2 класу, займався акробатикою. У 2014 році через війну сім'я була вимушена переїхати у с. Малий Вистороп Сумської області. Продовжив навчання в місцевій школі, почав цікавитись малюванням та різьбленням по дереву. Був спокійною, доброю дитиною. Навчався в комп'ютерній академії «Шаг», мріяв стати програмістом. Паралельно здобував фах електрика-зварювальника в 16 училищі м. Суми. З початком повномасштабного вторгення знаходився вдома та пережив окупацію села. У 2023 році доєднався до Сумського осередку Центурії. Щоб потрапити на тренування кожного разу проходив 14 км від села до залізничної станції. Проявив себе як рішучий та цілеспрямований, був найдійним побратимом. В 17 років виявив бажання доєднатись до лав ІІІ ОШБр, активно почав готуватись до вступу до війська. 26.05.2025 долучився до ІІІ Штурмової Бригади в складі розвідувального взводу 2 механізованого батальйону. Приймав участь в бойових діях на Харківському напрямку, де виконував завдання в н.п. Новосергіївка, Твердохлібове та Новоплатонівка. Неодноразово був командиром розвідувальної групи. Вирізнявся високим рівнем професійної підготовки, уважністю до деталей та здатністю швидко оцінювати обстановку, умінням швидко приймати рішення та читати місцевість. Завдяки його навичкам групі неодноразово вдавалося проводити успішні удари та зачистки. 12.01.2026 Шут прийняв бій в районі н.п. Твердохлібове Луганської області, ліквідуючи диверсійну групу противника. Внаслідок бою зник безвісти, навіки залишившись вірним своєму обов'язку, Ідеї та боротьбі за Велику Україну.

The schedule included a 40-kilometer hike, which concluded with a mystery play dedicated to one of the most important days of the solar cycle. The summer solstice has long symbolized the sun’s peak splendor, life force, abundance, and humanity’s unity with nature. That is why this day held a special place in the worldview of many European cultures and was marked by rituals designed to honor the natural cycle and the spiritual heritage of their ancestors. During the mystery play, participants honored the gods of the Germanic-Scandinavian and Slavic traditions, drawing on Europe’s shared cultural heritage. The event provided an opportunity not only to spend time together but also to reflect on historical traditions, their symbolism, and their significance for people today. The atmosphere of the hike and the evening mystery play was filled with mutual support, brotherhood, and respect for the cultural heritage that has shaped the worldview of European peoples over the centuries. 🇩🇪 WANDERUNG ZUM SOMMERSONNENWENDE Vor kurzem feierte die deutsche Initiativgruppe von Centuria die Sommersonnenwende an der Nordseeküste. Auf dem Programm stand eine 40 Kilometer lange Wanderung, die mit einem Mysterienspiel zu Ehren eines der wichtigsten Tage des Sonnenzyklus endete. Die Sommersonnenwende stand seit jeher symbolisch für den Höhepunkt der Sonne, die Lebenskraft, den Überfluss und die Einheit des Menschen mit der Natur. Genau aus diesem Grund nahm dieser Tag in der Weltanschauung vieler europäischer Völker einen besonderen Platz ein und wurde von Ritualen begleitet, die dazu dienten, den Kreislauf der Natur und das spirituelle Erbe der Vorfahren zu ehren. Während des Festes erinnerten die Teilnehmer an die Götter der germanisch-skandinavischen und slawischen Traditionen und knüpften damit an das gemeinsame kulturelle Erbe Europas an. Die Veranstaltung bot nicht nur die Gelegenheit, Zeit miteinander zu verbringen, sondern auch, historische Traditionen, ihre Symbolik und ihre Bedeutung für den modernen Menschen zu reflektieren. Die Atmosphäre des Wanderns und der abendlichen Mysterienfeier war geprägt von gegenseitiger Unterstützung, Brüderlichkeit und Respekt vor dem kulturellen Erbe, das über Jahrhunderte hinweg die Weltanschauung der europäischen Völker geprägt hat. Програма заходу включала 40-кілометровий похід, що завершився містерією, присвяченою одному з найважливіших днів сонячного циклу. Літнє сонцестояння здавна символізує найвищий розквіт сонця, життєву силу, достаток і єдність людини з природою. Саме тому цей день займав особливе місце у світогляді багатьох європейських народів і супроводжувався обрядами, покликаними вшанувати природний цикл та духовну спадщину предків. The EU’s modern political systems, build on a foundation of bureaucratic processes and countless standards, are simply not equipped to resist hostile aggression. Being a rescue worker in Ukraine and in the EU are two completely different professions. While the first risks his own life by shielding people from explosions, often without time to sleep or eat, the other deals with threats in accordance with rules and standards designed to protect his own life and health. In addition to providing comprehensive military, political, and economic assistance to Ukraine, European society must wake up from its illusions of safety and prepare for a defensive war. The heroism of the Ukrainian nation ensures its physical survival — day after day. And if Europe wishes to preserve its own existence, it will have to learn to live with the same bloody reality. (3/3) Die groß angelegte Invasion Russlands in der Ukraine und frühere Nachrichten über Terroranschläge der Russen gegen Ukrainer haben gezeigt, dass es keinen „Krieg nach den Regeln“ gibt. Die heutigen politischen Systeme der EU, die aus bürokratischen Abläufen und unzähligen Standards bestehen, sind einfach nicht darauf vorbereitet, sich gegen feindliche Aggressionen zu wehren. Rettungskräfte in der Ukraine und in der EU sind zwei völlig unterschiedliche Berufe. Während die einen ihr eigenes Leben riskieren, indem sie Menschen vor Explosionen schützen und oft keine Zeit zum Schlafen und Essen haben, arbeiten die anderen unter gefährlichen Bedingungen gemäß den Vorschriften und Standards zum Schutz ihres eigenen Lebens und ihrer Gesundheit. Die europäische Gesellschaft muss nicht nur der Ukraine umfassende militärische, politische und wirtschaftliche Hilfe leisten, sondern auch ihre Sicherheitsillusionen hinter sich lassen und sich auf einen Verteidigungskrieg vorbereiten. Der Heldentum der ukrainischen Nation sichert ihr tägliches physisches Überleben. Und wenn Europa seine Existenz bewahren will, muss es sich an eine ebenso blutige Realität gewöhnen. А ЩО Ж ЄВРОПА? (3/3) Повномасштабне вторгнення росії в Україну та попередні дописи про терористичні атаки росіян проти українців показали, що «війни за правилами» не існує. Сучасні політичні системи ЄС, побудовані з цеглин бюрократичних процесів та незліченних стандартів, просто не пристосовані до спротиву проти ворожої агресії. Рятувальник в Україні та ЄС — це дві зовсім різні професії. У той час, як перший ризикує власним життям, закриваючи собою людей від вибухів, часто не маючи часу на сон та їжу, інший працює із загрозами відповідно до правил та стандартів захисту власного життя і здоров'я. Європейське суспільство, крім всебічної військової, політичної та економічної допомоги Україні, має прокинутись від ілюзій безпеки і готуватись до оборонної війни. Героїзм української Nації забезпечує її фізичне виживання — щоденно. І якщо Європа забажає зберегти своє існування, їй доведеться звикати до такої ж кривавої реальності.

🇬🇧 SOLDIERS OF THE HOME FRONT (2/3) The enemy continues to systematically strike Ukrainian cities, deliberately targeting civilian and critical infrastructure. The goal of these attacks is not only to take the lives of civilians but also to spread fear and destroy Ukrainians’ sense of security. Every time there is an explosion, emergency service (DSNS) workers are the first to arrive at the scene of the tragedy; they take the first step toward saving lives and prevent Russia from taking even more souls. They are the ones who pull people out from under the rubble, put out fires, and help the wounded. The work of DSNS has long gone beyond that of a typical rescue service. While the Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding back Russian aggression on the front lines, DSNS rescuers are providing a reliable rear: they are saving people, clearing up the aftermath of enemy attacks, and helping to restore critical infrastructure. However, unfortunately, enemy shelling is getting more and more insidious: after the first round of shelling, the Russians strike the same location a second time, knowing that rescue workers are on the scene and deliberately targeting them. Centuria members in Ukraine regularly help to eliminate the consequences of shelling by applying their first-aid skills. These skills are acquired during the organization’s regular training sessions. Today, words of gratitude must be expressed to every rescuer on the home front. Brave and selfless, they snatch people from the clutches of death every day and are the first to step into places where there seems to be no way out. 🇩🇪 SOLDATEN IM HINTERLAND (2/3) Der Feind führt weiterhin systematisch Angriffe auf ukrainische Städte durch und greift dabei bewusst zivile und kritische Infrastruktur an. Das Ziel dieser Angriffe ist es, nicht nur das Leben unschuldiger Menschen zu nehmen, sondern auch Angst zu schüren und das Sicherheitsgefühl der Ukrainer zu zerstören. Jedes Mal nach den Explosionen sind die Rettungskräfte des Staatlichen Notdienstes (DSNS) als Erste am Ort der Tragödie, unternehmen den ersten Schritt zur Rettung der Menschen und verhindern, dass Russland noch mehr Seelen vernichtet. Sie sind es, die die Opfer aus den Trümmern bergen, Brände löschen und den Verletzten helfen. Die Arbeit des DSNS geht längst über den Rahmen eines gewöhnlichen Rettungsdienstes hinaus. Während die ukrainischen Streitkräfte an der Front die russische Aggression eindämmen, sorgen die Rettungskräfte des DSNS für Sicherheit im Hinterland: Sie retten Menschen, beseitigen die Folgen feindlicher Angriffe und helfen beim Wiederaufbau der lebenswichtigen Infrastruktur. Leider werden die feindlichen Beschüsse jedoch immer heimtückischer: Nach dem ersten Beschuss greifen die Russen denselben Ort ein zweites Mal an, wohl wissend, dass dort Rettungskräfte im Einsatz sind, und greifen diese gezielt an. Die Mitglieder der Centuria in der Ukraine helfen regelmäßig dabei, die Folgen der Beschüsse zu überwinden, indem sie ihre Kenntnisse in der Ersten Hilfe anwenden. Diese Fähigkeiten werden bei den regelmäßigen Schulungen der Organisation erworben. Heute gehören Worte der Dankbarkeit jedem Retter im Hinterland. Mutig und aufopferungsvoll retten sie täglich Menschen aus den Fängen des Todes und sind die Ersten, die sich dorthin begeben, wo es scheinbar keinen Ausweg gibt. ВОЇНИ ТИЛУ (2/3) Ворог продовжує систематично завдавати ударів по українських містах, свідомо атакуючи цивільну та критичну інфраструктуру. Мета цих обстрілів — не лише забрати життя мирних людей, а й посіяти страх та знищити відчуття безпеки в українців. Щоразу після вибухів першими на місце трагедії прибувають рятувальники ДСНС, роблять перший крок назустріч спасінню людей і не дають росії згубити ще більше душ. Саме вони дістають постраждалих з-під завалів, ліквідовують пожежі та допомагають пораненим. Робота ДСНС давно вийшла за межі звичайної служби порятунку. Поки Сили оборони України стримують російську агресію на передовій, рятувальники ДСНС забезпечують надійний тил: рятують людей, ліквідовують наслідки ворожих атак та допомагають відновлювати критично важливу інфраструктуру. Проте, на превеликий жаль, ворожі обстріли стають дедалі підступнішими: після першого обстрілу росіяни завдають удару по тому ж місцю вдруге, знаючи, що на місці працюють рятівники та навмисно атакуючи їх. Учасники Центурії в Україні регулярно допомагають ліквідовувати наслідки обстрілів, застосовуючи навички надання першої домедичної допомоги. Подібні навички набуваються на регулярних вишколах організації. Сьогодні слова вдячності мають звучати для кожного рятівника в тилу. 🇬🇧 RUSSIAN-STYLE DIPLOMACY (1/3) For years, the narratives of absurd Russian propaganda have tirelessly claimed that Russia is supposedly the "direct successor and main bulwark for the protection of the history of Rus". In Russian schools, pupils are told daily of an absolute identity between medieval Rus and contemporary Russia, while conveniently ignoring the most obvious cultural circumstances that fundamentally call such a historical interpretation into question. However, Russian society does not seek peace or freedom. This is evidenced by the hundreds of thousands of loyal Russian soldiers driven to war like livestock to the slaughter. Moscow journalists and politicians do not hesitate to blame Ukraine for problems that naturally originate and erupt within the hostile society itself: responsibility for high-profile terrorist attacks, bloody disasters, and economic failures is shifted not to their own political leadership but to the "omnipotent and everywhere-present" Ukrainian nation. As a result, societal hatred grows, and treacherous, bloody attacks on Ukraine come to seem justified to Russians. Tonight, 15 June, the Russian army again carried out a terrorist strike on civilian sites in Ukraine. This time the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra was burning. Founded in 1051, it remains one of the principal cultural monuments from the era of Rus. It is worth recalling that the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra was once earlier targeted for destruction by Muscovites, who blew it up in 1941 and, as is their custom, blamed their then-enemy for everything. The cultural heritage of Rus-Ukraine can belong only to the side that genuinely cares for its protection. At the same time, the enemy seeks to destroy and rewrite our history as it has done for centuries. It does not hesitate to bomb centuries-old churches, shoot civilians — whole families — torture and abduct children, all the while proclaiming its innocence to the world. We remind you that Europe cannot forever hide its head in the sand and «be diplomatically concerned». The Russian occupier will one day knock on the door, and preparing for war will then be too late. 🇩🇪 DIPLOMATIE AUF RUSSISCHE ART (1/3) Die Narrative der absurden russischen Propaganda behaupten seit Jahren unermüdlich, dass Russland angeblich der "direkte Rechtsnachfolger und die Hauptfestung zum Schutz der Geschichte der Rus" sei. In russischen Schulen wird den Schülern täglich von einer völligen Identität zwischen der mittelalterlichen Rus und dem modernen Russland erzählt, wobei die offenkundigsten kulturellen Umstände, die eine solche historische Auslegung grundsätzlich in Frage stellen, bewusst übergangen werden. Das russische Gesellschaft strebt jedoch weder nach Frieden noch nach Freiheit. Dafür sprechen Hunderttausende loyaler russischer Soldaten, die wie Nutzvieh zur Schlacht getrieben werden. Moskauer Journalisten und Politiker scheuen sich nicht, der Ukraine die Schuld für Probleme zu geben, die natürlicherweise in und aus einer feindlichen Gesellschaft hervorgehen und eskalieren: die Verantwortung für spektakuläre Terroranschläge, blutige Katastrophen und wirtschaftliche Misserfolge wird nicht der eigenen politischen Führung zugeschoben, sondern der "allmächtigen und überall präsenten" ukrainischen Nation. Infolgedessen wächst der Hass in der Gesellschaft, und hinterhältige, blutige Angriffe auf die Ukraine erscheinen den Russen gerechtfertigt. In der vergangenen Nacht, am 15. Juni, führte die russische Armee erneut einen terroristischen Schlag gegen zivile Einrichtungen in der Ukraine aus. Diesmal brannte die Kyjiwer Höhlenkloster (Kyjiwer-Pecherska Lavra). Sie wurde 1051 gegründet und bleibt eines der wichtigsten kulturellen Denkmäler aus der Zeit der Rus. Es sei daran erinnert, dass die Kyjiwer-Pecherska Lavra bereits früher von den Moskowitern zu zerstören versucht wurde, als sie 1941 gesprengt und — der Tradition folgend — für alles ihr damaliger Feind verantwortlich gemacht wurde. Das kulturelle Erbe der Rus-Ukraine kann nur der Seite gehören, die wirklich für dessen Schutz sorgt. Zugleich versucht der Feind, unsere Geschichte zu zerstören und umzuschreiben, wie er es bereits über Jahrhunderte hinweg getan hat. Er scheut sich nicht, jahrhundertealte Kirchen zu bombardieren, Zivilisten — ganze Familien — zu erschießen, Kinder zu foltern und zu entführen, und erklärt sich gleichzeitig der Welt gegenüber für unschuldig. Wir erinnern daran, dass Europa nicht ewig den Kopf in den Sand stecken und «diplomatisch besorgt» sein kann. ДИПЛОМАТІЯ ПО-РОСІЙСЬКИ (1/3) Наративи безглуздої російської пропаганди роками невтомно стверджують, що саме росія нібито є "прямим правонаступником та головним оплотом захисту історії Русі". У російських школах школярам щоденно розповідають про виключну тотожність середньовічної Русі та сучасної росії, оминаючи при цьому найочевидніші культурні обставини, що ставлять під сумнів існування подібного історичного трактування в принципі. Втім, російське суспільство не прагне миру та свободи. Про це свідчать сотні тисяч лояльних російських солдат, яких женуть на війну немов свійську худобу на бійню. Московські журналісти та політики не цураються звинувачувати Україну у проблемах, які природним чином зароджуються та вибухають всередині ворожого суспільства: відповідальність за гучні теракти, криваві катастрофи, економічні провали скидається не на власне політичне керівництво, а на "всесильну та присутню всюди" українську націю. В результаті ненависть суспільства зростає, і підступні та криваві атаки на Україну здаються для росіян виправданими. Сьогодні вночі, 15.06, російська армія вкотре завдала терористичного удару по цивільним об'єктам України. Цього разу палала Києво-Печерська Лавра. Заснована у 1051 році, вона залишається однією з головних культурних пам'яток часів Русі. Варто згадати, що Києво-Печерську Лавру вже колись намагались знищити московити, підірвавши її у 1941 році та, за традицією, звинувативши у всьому свого тогочасного ворога. Культурний спадок Русі-України може належати лише тій стороні, яка по-справжньому піклується про його захист. Одночасно з тим, ворог намагається знищити та переписати нашу історію так, як нищив її сотні років до цього. Він не цурається бомбити багатолітні церкви, розстрілювати цивільних цілими сім'ями, катувати й викрадати дітей, одночасно заявляючи на весь світ про свою невинність. 🇩🇪 ENTLANG DER SUDETEN Die deutsche Initiativgruppe von Centuria hat eine Wanderung entlang der deutsch-tschechischen Grenze durchgeführt. Die Teilnehmer haben den Aussichtsturm an der Grenze zwischen den beiden Staaten besucht und die lokalen historischen Sehenswürdigkeiten kennengelernt. Die Landschaft der Region war von dem großartigen Geist der Geschichte umhüllt, die früher auf diesen Gebieten geschrieben wurde. 🇬🇧 ALONG THE SUDETENLAND The German initiative group of Centuria organized a journey along the German-Czech border. Participants visited an observation tower on the border between the two countries and explored local historical monuments.
