I was checking Revanced channel and I just saw a msg by reis saying that revancify's codebase is a mess. I would have felt the same but if I didn't know how to write bash 😂😂. Revancify's code is 99.98% dynamic and bash rules compatible. Only 0.02 % is hardcoded. Just riplibs are hardcoded and one is due to youtube music. I agree that I didn't included any comments and that was intentional as I don't want to waste my time. Revanced Builder doesn't have a version check for downloaded apps. It also doesn't check if CLI and patches are completely downloaded. It doesn't contain any options file editor. I tried to make Revancify as easy as it can be. You can compare both side by side and If you doesn't consider User Interface, then Revancify is better in all other ways.

I wanna see how fast your device performs with Revancify So, everyone who has a decent or good device, please record your screen while patching and installing is done. I did a code reformat and now Revancify is showing errors while launching. so, I suggest you to do revancify -r once and everything would be fine. 👍

Pro Tip: Many people don't know that if you already patched a version say, 18.07.35, and you want to mount it cause after reboot it reverted to stock youtube, then you don't need to patch it again. You can just remount the app directly. When this shows up: Yes: Patch Again (you want to change a patch) No: You need to install or remount the apk Back: Cancel and Go to Main Menu

Revancify now has --rip-lib support again (was removed in Dec). This deletes unused arch-libs from the apk and hence reduces the apk size. Note: only for Revanced Extended

Possible fixes if Revanced is crashing after reboot 1. Run revancify, go to Extras Menu, then go to Uninstall revanced app, and uninstall all the mounted apps one by one. 2. Uninstall the stock app. If not uninstallable, proceed. 3. Run this command in termux ->[

su -c pm path com.google.android.youtube | sed -n '/base/s/package://p']

replace com.google.android.youtube with your own apk YT Music : com.google.android.apps.youtube.music Go to this location in root explorer and force delete the folder of the base.apk, not only the apk. 4. Run the previous command again and delete until it shows no output. 5. Uninstall any revanced related module. 6. Go to /data/adb folder. Delete the folders "Revanced", "Vanced", "Music". 7. Go to /data/adb/service.d/ and delete every revanced or youtube related sh file inside this. Same way, go to /data/adb/post-fs-data.d/ and delete those in it as well. 8. Reboot your device. 9. Install the app from Play Store. Run revancify and mount the app. # Follow every step carefully. This is just a possible fix. If the problem still persists, you may try Revanced Manager as well. If Revanced Manager still doesn't work, the problem is with the device.

ALERT 🚨 I did some fix to the mount command as well as mount script and made it exactly same as in Revanced Manager. Go and mount the app again. No need to patch again though. If the problem still exists, then it may be a device specific problem One big issue is that I only have rooted android 10 device and non rooted Android 12 device. So, I can test the script in newer devices. If you still have problems, you are free to give Revanced Manager a try.

The functionality is transferred to EXTRAS MENU → Added Settings.json file for storing preferences → Some minor fixes here and there.
