In the 18th century, doctors prescribed ketchup as a treatment for things like diarrhoea, indigestion and jaundice.
The idea was initially proposed by Dr. John Cook Bennett, an American physician, in 1834, who later decided to sell the recipe in the form of ‘tomato pills'.
After sales began, copycats flooded the market with their own pills, leading to a war of tomato pills. These copy cats claimed their pills could solve all types of ailments but in truth most just sold laxatives.
Decades later, in 1876, Henry Heinz, an American entrepreneur created today’s version of tomato ketchup. He used ripe tomatoes, distilled vinegar, brown sugar, salt, and a variety of spices.
This recipe later gained popularity as a non-medicinal condiment and remains well known even today.

The rule popularly known as the five-second rule is a totally ridiculous myth.
Food that is dropped on the floor is never completely safe to eat, even if you pick it up immediately.
Bacteria can contaminate food in just a fraction of a second. The type of surface the food is dropped on also makes a difference.
For example, food dropped on a carpet is more likely to be contaminated than food dropped on a tile floor.
Keep in mind that no matter how quickly you pick it up, it's best to just throw away food that has been dropped on the floor.

A bacteria that is spherically shaped is called?
On December 11, 1911, at Stockholm, Sweden, Marie Curie became the first person to be awarded a second Nobel prize.
She had isolated radium by electrolysing molten radium chloride.
At the negative electrode the radium formed an amalgam with mercury. Heating the amalgam in a silica tube filled with nitrogen at low pressure boiled away the mercury, leaving pure white deposits of radium.
This second prize was for her individual achievements in Chemistry, whereas her first prize (1903), in Physics, (shared with her husband, Pierre Curie, and Henri Becquerel) for her contributions in the discovery of radium and polonium.

2- The sales of jamb e-pin will start on the 8th of January to the 24th of February, this e-pin is important for your registration
3- Jamb mock examination which is not compulsory for everyone, it's your choice but it will hold on the 30th of march 2024
4- Main jamb utme examination, this is the main examination it will hold from the 19th to the 29th of April
