SOLUTION In the diagram above , Since the radii are equal and it is a regular hexagon, the angles subtended at the centre will be equal. Therefore,angle=360/6 =60 *The radii divided the hexagon into 6 equal triangles Area of one triangle=1/2 absin© =1/2 6×6 ×sin60⁰ =9√3 So,area of the hexagon =6 ×9√3 =54√3 cm²

He made sure that from the first day of school, he did not miss any classes, and his notes were always up to date. Every evening he would read up on what he had learnt in class that day. He always did his homework even when he sometimes did not have the correct answers. Every time his friends advised him to 'relax, it's not yet an exam period, you can do it later', he would remember the pride and joy he imagined on his father's face as he looked at his imaginary report card and immediately, Mansour would decide to do the right thing. True to his foresight as well as his hardwork, Monsour's scores changed from around the 45% range, to 80% in all his subjects. His position went from a place in the bottom 10 up to 4th position in the first term, and 2nd position in the second term By the beginning of the third term, Mansour predicted that at the end of the term, he would receive seven prizes, including the overall best student prize in the prize-giving day. Everyone called him a dreamer until the evening of the prize-giving ceremony when Mansour picked up his seven prizes including the prize given to the overall best student in JSS 3. Just as he had imagined, his father looked on with pride and joy as Monsour dedicated his last prize to Mr. Ogege with a quote from Shankar Bakar that said,"YOUR HANDS CAN'T HIT IT IF YOUR EYES CAN'T SEE IT."

Transition is a process, but it depends on what you can see for yourself. Until you see yourself doing the impossible, you might not be outstanding. The difference between an ordinary person and an extra ordinary person is the Extra that is added by the ordinary. Sacrifices Commitment Determination Devotion DISCIPLINE.... Etc are what makes the difference

"Are you sure it's that simple sir?" Monsour asked excitedly, finally sensing an end to his frustrations. "Of course not my boy, you have to work hard to achieve the results you have seen just like Shankar would go into the ring and give it his best shot. But it all starts with writing out your own report card at the beginning of the term. Try it and see." And it worked like magic. On the last day of his summer holiday, Monsour sat down to write on a piece of paper the grades he desired to have in each subject for the first term of his JSS 3. Even though he wasn't sure how tough each subject would be, Monsour was determined not to score less than 35 out of 40 marks available in continuous assessment. For the final examinations, he made up his mind not to score less than 50 from a total of 60 marks in every subject.

Remember that you can only become what you see 🔥🔥 LAW OF FORESIGHT 💥✨ Let's continue

Monsour laughed and asked how anyone could have achieved such a feat. "That, my boy, was the exact question most journalists asked Shankar every time his knockout predictions were accurate. After his retirement, Shankar Bakar shared his secret with the whole world. He explained how he always imagined his fight in his mind several times before he ever stepped into the boxing ring with his opponents. Shankar was one of the first boxes known to have more time studying the past matches of his opponents, looking for their fighting patterns weakness, than he spent in the training ring with his own sparring partner. Once Shankar was sure he had mastered the fighting style of his opponents, he would begin to imagine every round of the fight ahead. Over and over again, he could predict the round in which he would knock out his opponent. Shankar did all of this before stepping into the ring for the actual fight." Monsour found the story very interesting but still wasn't sure he understood what Mr. Ogege was trying to teach him. "At the beginning of the term, emulate Shankar Bakar and see the end of the term in your mind. Then predict it on a paper. Fill out the exact marks that you want from every subject. Imagine what you will score in your continuous assessments, and then in your final exams. Go ahead and imagine the comments of your teacher and then see the pride and joy on your father's face as he reads your results," Mr. Ogege told Monsour.

Am I too fast? 🤔

Monsour could not forgive himself every time Mahmud and Memunat wondered how much fun they could have been having with their cousins at Obudu Cattle Ranch. All the fun they could have had was now left only to their imagination. "And it's entirely my fault," Monsour thought to himself. To make matters worse, he now had to receive extra summer coaching lessons from Mr. Ogege while all the other children in the neighborhood were playing football and riding their BMX bicycles. Surprisingly, Monsour always seemed to understand everything that Mr. Ogege taught him and he even scored good grades in Mr. Ogege's assignments and tests. "You are a brilliant boy," Mr. Ogege said to Monsour one evening after marking his test results. "I don't understand why you don't do well in school." Then Mr. Ogege told Monsour the story of Shankar Bakar, the world's greatest boxing legend. "Shankar was called 'The Greatest ' because he seemed to always predict accurately, the exact round in which he would knock out many of his opponents. His prediction got so accurate that even his opponents started to believe him."

Things had just gone from bad to worse and Monsour had come to realise that if he didn't do something drastic, the worst was yet to come. A junior secondary student, Monsour's grades had been so poor that they had often put him in the bad book of his disciplinarian father. He always seems to have to forfeit all the privileges available to his younger brother Mahmud and sister Memunat. At the end of the junior secondary school one (JSS 1) session, all three children received brand new BMX bicycles as a gift from their father, but only Mahmud and Memunat got the privilege of riding theirs throughout the summer holiday. By the end of the JSS 2 session, the stakes got higher. Mahmud and Memunat missed out on the opportunity of visiting Cross River State for the summer vacation, simply because of Monsour's poor results.
