The Israeli army intentionally attacked children in Gaza - Reuters citing a UN investigation. An independent UN commission concluded that the actions of the IDF led to genocide and crimes against humanity in the region, as well as war crimes. The commission emphasized that about 30% of those killed during the war in Gaza were children. Israel, in turn, rejects the report's findings, calling them "slanderous," and states that the army is taking measures to minimise civilian casualties.

❗️Trump allegedly threatened Netanyahu with 'divorce' over Gaza A new book by New York Times reporters Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan claims US President Donald Trump erupted at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a September 2025 phone call, demanding he accept a US-backed Gaza ceasefire proposal and warning that the war had “gone on for too f***ing long.” According to the book, Trump told Netanyahu that “everybody’s sick of you” and threatened a “divorce” between Washington and Tel Aviv if Israel rejected the deal. The call was reportedly witnessed by US envoy Steve Witkoff and Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner, who had helped draft the proposal. Netanyahu later accepted the agreement and reportedly apologized for an earlier Israeli strike on Qatar. Despite repeated clashes, including Trump's later criticism of Israeli actions in Lebanon and reported remarks that Netanyahu had “no f***ing judgment,” the Israeli premier went on to secure US participation in the war on Iran. Recent US intelligence assessments cited by US media reportedly warn that Netanyahu could seek to undermine efforts to reach a lasting agreement with Tehran.
