let's go.

for those who don't know, neither Uzbekistan nor any other FLEX countries fund their students' stay in America.

I am back home in Minnesota. Four months ago, I applied for a FLEX Scholarship to attend Civic Education Workshop in Washington DC and Virginia. Guess what, I won the full scholarship! March 12-18, 74 FLEX Exchange students from 22 European and Central Asian countries participated in conferences held by American Diplomats and US Congress staffers. I can tell that each seminar we had with them was extremely helpful and informative. I am tremendously happy that I got to meet and make friends with so many intelligent peers of mine from so many different countries. I will never forget the vibe I had with my Ukrainian friends (палянИця ахахах). Wherever I went to with exchange students throughout my whole FLEX journey, Ukrainians were the first one at the door to hang out and socialize with me, for which I am so grateful to them. The fact that the Ukrainians have been so friendly and supportive of me made me want to pick up their language. Yes, I made up my mind to learn the Ukrainian language, and it is already the 3rd day. You know who is helping me learn the language? 6 Ukrainian friends of mine from Washington DC. Isn't it beautiful? That's what I would call a real friendship. Besides, I want to say a big "Thank you" to US Congress and US Department of State for funding and sponsoring our participation on the program. FLEX has changed my life. FLEX gave a new meaning to my life. Thank you, FLEX. @javohir_utkirov
