Cronos Explorer is a new block explorer developed specifically to help users and developers to access information from both the #Ethereum and the #Cosmos layers of Cronos. We're committed to delivering world-class reliability and staying competitive with other top chains. 🔧 During the first half of 2023, Cronos has implemented significant improvements, including: - VersionDB database leading to 62% smaller node storage requirements. - Fast node mode enabling 50% faster node response time. - Address recovery caching leading to a 30% increase in transaction execution speed. - More reliable public JSON-RPC endpoints delivering more consistent data 20-50% faster. - Commercial availability of optimistic rollups on Cronos Mainnet, enabling the ecosystem to support hundreds or even thousands of transactions per second. 🔭 Looking ahead, there are some promising upgrades being evaluated for deployment: - Increase of block speed and capacity for up to 2X increase in transaction per second (TPS) throughput. - MemIAVL blockchain data structure, which will make it >95% faster to load and export node snapshots.
