Let's continue my ongoing topic! 📌 Rules I've learned over 10 years in cosplay Rule #2: ⚠️ DOUBLE YOUR TIME ESTIMATES ⚠️ When creating a costume or prepping for a shoot or a con, there's so much that can go WRONG. This can lead to dreadful deadlines, sleepless nights and frustration due to wasted effort and lack of output. So estimate how long the whole process will take and then double it. Or better yet, triple it! Rule #3: ⚠️ PEOPLE WILL FUCK UP YOUR DEADLINES ⚠️ Set CLEAR deadlines for your craftsmen/seamstresses/wigmaker/photographer. Keep in mind that these deadlines will be fucked up in 70% of cases. But if you don't set deadlines, your costume/wig/craft will probably NEVER be ready.

I decided to make a new regular column ⚡ "Rules I've learned over 10 years in cosplay"⚡ Today we have rule #1. ❗️ What could theoretically fall off or break in your costume IS BOUND to fall off or break❗️ How to deal with it: - Sew or VERY firmly glue all the details and parts. - Do a little crash testing, especially if you plan to wear the costume to an important event or shoot where you won't have time to fix anything. - Try to avoid fragile parts in the costume. If there are any, but you really want to hang out in it at con with your friends, just take those fragile parts off and leave them at HOME (Believe me). Then put them back on when you need the costume, for example, for a shoot.

My homies and I are getting ready to move from Turkey to another country and I started selling unnecessary things on a Turkish site, without much hope. And today I sold my FIRST item!!! (vacuum cleaner) I'm SO PROUD like it's my biggest life achievment hahaha
