Man Shoots Dead 2 climate change protesters blocking a road in Panama. The 77 year old fired a handgun at the eco activists who were blocking the road demanding an end to oil use. After he pulled out his gun, one of the activists yelled “why don’t you shoot”—and he subsequently fired the fatal shots. One of the victims died at the scene while the other died shortly after being rushed to hospital. Kenneth Darlington, who has dual American and Panama citizenship has been arrested and appeared before a court. He has been charged with murder and illegal possession of a gun.
