With just 9 hours of sales in the US, "Spider-Man - Brand New Day" has already surpassed the sales of the first 4 days of "Fantastic Four (2025)" and "Superman" It will be the first $200 million opening of 2026. Or higher.

SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY pre-sales revenue has already surpassed the first 24 hours of sales of every studio film released in the US since ‘No Way Home’. Nationwide, including non-studio films since NWH, only Taylor Swift’s ‘The Eras Tour’ first-day sales ($37M) has yet to be surpassed. Spidey still has 16 hours left to do it. But for that, AMC, Cinemark and Regal Movies urgently need to add more primetime shows for previews and Friday. With #IMAX locked for #TheOdyssey until mid-AUG, #SpiderMan fans are flocking into the #DolbyCinemas with several #BrandNewDay Dolby screenings already about to sellout, over 40 days in advance.

But Dolby, Cinemark XD, Regal RPX, AMC Prime and XL also have larger screens supported by Dolby Vision, HDR by Barco, and Dolby Atmos sound.
