A few points for mains aspirants- 1. Be aggressive in your mains preparation there isn’t much time left. 2. Do not blindly believe in test series evaluation(not all are good) - write for practice 3. Practice enough PYQs, especially in Optional. 4. There is no such thing as ideal answers, nobody writes ideal answers in mains papers, you just need to write relatively better than others(a few unique points will fetch extra marks) 5. Prepare common points for each repeated theme. 6. Read topper answer sheets and find gaps by comparing. 7. Use themes approach for current based questions. Have calmness, confidence and clarity in your prep. All the best!

For those who couldn't make it, it is these moments which define you. Not when you actually make it. Do not lose your spirit and resolve. This exam requires perseverance and a lot of luck at every stage. Most importantly do not stop your mains preparation! Ps: All the best for those who are writing mains. I congratulate you all future civil servants, regardless of the prelims result.
