Treatment dental fluorosis: 📍اذا mild ………… نسوي bleaching نوحد اللون 📍اذا moderate ………… حشوات كومبوزت وياها يا اما ڤينير او micro abrasion 📍اذا severe ………… مالهن چارة prosthetic crown

Clinical presentation fluorosis: 🫧Staining + pitting 🫧Severe = enamel damage 🫧White opaque enamel 🫧Increase subsurface porosity ⚪️بالبداية شلون شكله؟ Many horizontal white lines Run along perikymata White opacities at newly erupted incisal end ⚪️اذا نسبة الفلورايد عالية؟ White lines more defined + thicker Patchy cloudy areas + thick opaque bands Entire tooth = chalky white + lost transparency ☠️كل ما طبقات أعمق تتأثر بسبب مدى تعرض طويلة او تركيز فلورايد عالي، نشوف التوث يطلع بالفم و هو اصلاً مزرف pitting و بعدين يصير fracture mild fluorosis = teeth more resistant to decay severe fluorosis = more susceptible to decay

هسة نجي لعمر الطفل و اذا تعرض لدوز عالية من الفلورايد شنو راح يتأثر: 😿0 - 3 years = incisors, first molars ياخذ الفلورايد من المي الي نسوي بي حليب ممة 😿3 - 6 years = premolars, canines, second molars ياخذ الفلورايد من early toothpaste use 😿0 - 6 years = all teeth affected في حال استعمل fluoride supplements او شرب مي بي فلورايد نسبة عالية كلش more than 4 ppm

منو أكثر شي معرض للفلوروسز anterior teeth؟ infants and toddlers 👶 ليش؟ لان اول ٣ سنين الpermanent front teeth بعدهم ديكملون الmineralisation الفلورايد يترسب بالtransition/maturation stage فه سطح السن كاملاً ممكن يتأثر الأطفال الي يشربون ممة مسويها بمي البوري (الي بي فلورايد) أكثر شي معرضين 🍼🍼🍼🍼 Children fed formula made with fluoridated water are at higher risk to develop dental fluorosis.

ماحس اكو شي ذاك الأهمية من هذا اللكچر بس فكرة أنو absorption كلش يزداد بلacidic condition و أكثر شي excreted by urine بعد ما يصير بي glomulerar filtration و partial reabsorption

Fluoride excretion 🔸Urine = primary excretion Urinary fluoride clearance increases with urine pH due to a decrease in the concentration of HF. Renal clearance of fluoride in adult 30 to 50 ml/min 🔸Feces الفلورايد الي ما صار بي ابزوربشن fecal fluoride = less than 10% of daily ingested fluoride 🔸Sweat قليل لكن في حالات التعرق الشديد ممكن يوصل ل50% of excreted fluoride 🔸Saliva أقل من 1% من الفلورايد الابزوربد نشوفه هنا و هو 2/3 of plasma F concentration
