🌈 A story of Christ they left out of the Bible 🌈 There's an ancient text called the Arabic Infancy Gospel (also known as the Syriac Infancy Gospel) — one of the early Christian writings that never made it into the canon. In chapter 37 it tells this: The child Jesus wanders into a dyer's workshop. The dyer has piles of cloth, each one meant to be dyed a different color for a different customer. While the dyer's back is turned, Jesus takes ALL the cloths and throws them into a single vat of indigo. The dyer is horrified — everything's ruined. But when Jesus draws the cloths out, each one comes up exactly the color it was meant to be. Crimson, gold, green, violet. One vat. Many colors. Sit with that. One source. One love. And every single piece comes out DIFFERENT — not despite the divine, but because of it. Your color is not a mistake. Your difference is not a flaw in the dye. It's the miracle working exactly as intended. We are all cloth from the same vat, family. Every color requested. Every color delivered. Welcome home. 🕊️❤️💛💚💙💜

In the Genesis story the rainbow is literally the sign of "no reset" — the covenant after the flood that life won't be wiped clean again. So if you carry the rainbow as an inner image, you're carrying a very old promise: whatever storms come, the world isn't given up on. The Rainbow Gathering name adds another layer — the prophecy of people from all colors and tribes coming together to heal what's broken. That's less a guarantee that the light "wins" and more an invitation: the rainbow only appears when light passes *through* the rain. It doesn't deny the storm; it transforms it into something visible and whole. Rosenberg said "everybody's needs can get met" wasn't faith in good triumphing over evil, but lived experience that when enemy images dissolve, the conflict resolves itself. In that sense the rainbow in the heart isn't a bet that positive forces are stronger; it's a practice of refusing the reset — refusing to write anyone off, including the ones bringing the rain.

The Legend of the 6 Blind Men and the Elephant There once were 6 blind men who, upon encountering an elephant, gave their own indi vidual assessments of the elephant. The first one happened to fall against the broad and sturdy side of the elephant, and concluded that the elephant is very much like a wall. Each of the blind men was partly right based on his own subjective perception —but at the same time, mostly wrong. The comical part of it all is that their dispute stemmed from utter ignorance because none had ever seen the elephant!
