I have a lot of chaotic thoughts about Johnny's masochistic tendencies. I don't want to get too psychological because I'm not interested in it, so all the options include the fact that he simply just enjoys rough sex. Okay, firstly, maybe he just doesn't like being coddled or treated condescendingly. He's never had a real, steady girlfriend, only one-night stands, so affection and tenderness are alien to him, as lust outweighs them.
