I've been thinking about animals alot lately. Mostly how we've evolved towards them. Think about it. Back 40 years ago, it was common to have a junk yard dog that stayed outside ALL the time and barely got any human contact. Taking an old dog out back and shooting it because it had a bum leg was also very common. Hitting a dog was expected as discipline. Today, we never see dogs tied out back all the time. We are NOT ok to see someone hit an animal. For any reason. And putting one down is devastating. We'll spend 1000s trying to save our family member. There is a bigger connection forming. Many wild animals are being saved by caring souls. That RARELY happened 40 years ago. Maybe a little girl might find a little turtle and wanna save it. But dad would say there's no need and throw it outside. Yes. I was that little girl. And now I'm grown up. Same with many others my age. And we've influenced an entire generation to be kinder to animals. And its happening. I love it! @canadiancuriosities

I've always seen how there were plenty of people out there who weren't that brilliant. But have you also noticed what these not so bright people earn in a year. Blows my mind when someone can barely get out of bed without instructions yet they are a manager. I understand the ones that own their own companies. Thats clearly bought and handed to them, more thank likely from parents. They can fail all year and mom and dad will make sure the illusion of making money is there. However im confused on the jobs that are given to, not so bright people, and they keep it for YEARS and haven't been able to do the job for the entirety of having it. I know you know who I'm talking about. We've all encountered the idiot running HR. Or the manager that has no clue about the job itself. Or the supervisor that shows up drunk 98% of the time...yet no one says a word. Because there are less and less people in the workplace these days....its more and more noticeable. When there was 50 staff...no one really noticed. Now there's 25 and the work loads have doubled for all staff. For the same amount of money. You'll notice if 1 person isn't doing their job and most of the time....its management or owners that are the ones not pitching in. Yes. There are some good ones out there. But they are rare. That whole idea of passing work off to someone else will be a thing of the past soon. None of us get paid enough to do 2-3 jobs while someone else gets rich. Every day that goes by I see the complaints become bigger and more frequent. We're fed up. How will a clueless manager manage people who walked out? @canadiancuriosities

When 2 people come together, they can create life. So what could 9+ billion coming together create? @canadiancuriosities

I finally got some pictures of the strange roof in Lancaster Ontario. Why would you build a roof like this at all unless the building next to it went higher than it is today. Do we have flat roofs in "wild west" times? Most of us know that flat top roofs are a pain in the ass and not the best for longevity and/or convenience. Due to this tiny observation I now think that our flat top roofs ONLY exist because the tops were destroyed. Its hard to destroy one of these solid buildings....but fires can give an excuse to take the tops off. Fire rises. And no one blinks an eye because....oh look...the building was saved. No. Its was changed to match the vanilla sky pictures we had to go with the "history" of the specific building. @canadiancuriosities

Am I happy that there are confused people out there....no. And if they arent confused about this, they'll be confused about that. I have a niece who has labeled herself as non binary. She's just a kid with an impressionable mind. She's been misled. But do I hate my niece because she's confused BY DESIGN? Absolutely not. I love that kid. Alot of people here in this chat are VERY religious. Do I hate all of them because they believe something I dont. Absolutely not. Sure there are extremists in everything too. So yes there are dog and baby dressing strange people out there. There are cult followers out there too. But no one has malicious intentions. There are some pretty insane people out there. Most....its not even their fault. A world full of demands and expectations. For some....its too hard to live up to and lose their grip on reality. But just because those people are a little over the top doesn't make me think of them as against me or me against them. The design wants us that way. Start fighting about your OPINIONS and forget all about the REAL bad guys. They might be humans, they might be creatures, they might be robots, sometimes even the idea that "God" might be the bad guy. But whatever the "bad guy" might be, I know its not the lace wearing sissy man's fault for the world being as it is. So I won't take it out on him. Its not Judith's fault because she goes to church every Sunday. Its not Tom's fault because he votes and pays his taxes on time. Its not Cindy's fault because she changed her name to Charles. Do you get what I mean? Stop being so ugly to each other just because your beliefs don't match. You deserve to smile just as much as they do. @canadiancuriosities

Men AND Women Old AND young Rich AND poor You get the idea. Why do we keep falling into the competitive trap? @canadiancuriosities

If one more person tells me its normal to have this much cloud and rain, I might just lose my calm demeanor and lash out irrationally. Tell me all this shit is normal when we are half way thru August and we've had only 2 days of sun all summer and neither were on a weekend. Maybe then you'll believe NONE of whats happening in the skies are "natural". And the earth has a way of balancing itself and healing what's been hurt. Cant fuck with this and not expect consequences to follow. @canadiancuriosities
