MANAGING DIRECTOR UPPCL Subject : Regarding notice issued to use GATE 2025 scorecard for shortlisting for the post UPPCL AE. We beg to say that notice no. 658/VSA/2024/AE issued by UPPCL on 13/09/2024 to recruit UPPCL Assistant Engineers (AE) through GATE 2025 scorecard is not in benefit of students from Uttar Pradesh(U.P). Previously UPPCL AE post was recruited through exam conducted by Vidyut Sewa Aayog(VSA). Recruitment done by VSA in previous years was completed in "fair and in time bound ". We request you to reconsider this decision which has taken all UPPCL aspirants from U.P by surprise as we all have been preparing for the exam conducted by VSA as like previous years. 1.Notice issued by UPPCL to recruit AE post through GATE 2025 was released on 14/9/2024 ,17 days have gone past by since form fillup had started on 28/8/2024 i.e 60% of time alloted by GATE 2025 conducting body IIT Roorkee is of 30days. 2. Decision to use GATE 2025 scorecard for shortlisting will severely affect the future of students from Uttar Pradesh as it is dream of many electrical engineers from U.P to join UPPCL and "help in building their home state" but this decision will jeopardize this as majority of seats will be taken by students from others states by giving exams in their home town to serve in our home town . 3. Students from Uttar Pradesh have been preparing for the exam pattern conducted by VSA like in previous years for the past 2 years since it was conducted last by VSA in the year 2022 and in short notice of 4 months before the GATE exam it is very difficult and will be injustice to the students as both exam patterns are different. We UPPCL aspirants from Uttar Pradesh request you to reconsider this decision of using GATE 2025 scorecard for shortlisting for the UPPCL AE post .And notice issued regarding this will be cancelled. We UPPCL aspirants from Uttar Pradesh request you to recruit UPPCL AE post through VSA which had been conducting exam for more than three decades and completing them in "fair and in time bound". UPPCL द्वारा GATE 2025 के माध्यम से AE पदों पर भर्ती के लिए अधिसूचना 14/9/2024 को जारी की गई थी, 28/8/2024 को फॉर्म भरने की शुरुआत के बाद से 17 दिन बीत चुके हैं, यानी GATE 2025 आयोजित करने वाली संस्था IIT रुड़की द्वारा आवंटित समय का 60% 30 दिनों का है। 2. शॉर्टलिस्टिंग के लिए GATE 2025 स्कोरकार्ड का उपयोग करने का निर्णय उत्तर प्रदेश के छात्रों के भविष्य को बुरी तरह प्रभावित करेगा क्योंकि यूपी के कई इलेक्ट्रिकल इंजीनियरों का सपना UPPCL में शामिल होना और "अपने गृह राज्य के निर्माण में मदद करना" है, लेकिन यह निर्णय इसे खतरे में डाल देगा क्योंकि अधिकांश सीटें अन्य राज्यों के छात्रों द्वारा हमारे गृह नगर में सेवा करने के लिए अपने गृह नगर में परीक्षा देकर ली जाएंगी।
