The two charts illustrate the principal causes of why employees apt for working staying at home and compare the proportions of male and female workers' weekly working hours from home in 2019. Overall, it is clear that the reason of saving money was the main reason why both men and women workers chose to work from home during the year. It is also manifest that significantly more males than females used to work for longer hours every week within that span. Focusing firstly on bar graph, the proportions of male and female workers who showed saving money as the main reason for working from home constituted 45% and 42% respectively which were the largest figures in both categories over that period. Moreover, the females working from home to be more productive made up more than twice as less as that of males. By stark contrast, considerably less males worked from home so as to take care of children, accounting for a mere 4% compared to a moderate 26% of females. Turning to the table now, working from home was apparently more preferable for male workers, with their greatest proportion working over 30 hours a week, whilst this figure for females was noticeably lower, with only 6%. However, there was a large difference in the percentages of males and females working under 10 hours per week, with the latter showing just below two-thirds. Finally, the corresponding proportions for males and females setting aside 10 to 30 hours for homeworking were 16% and 22%, with the dominance of females.
