18 year old French keyboard prodigy DOMi played us w/super sick dual keyboard solo jam using two Omnispheres both in Stack mode and using the Keyscape Creative Library! Each controller keyboard is connected to the laptop and to a respective Omnisphere plug-in which is in Stack Mode. The zones of the various Omnisphere/Keyscape patches crossfade across the range of the keys, so a bass transforms into a lead, etc. DOMi has a footpedal that allows her to activate the wah effect or bring in other sounds. This allowed her a lot sonic freedom and so everything you hear in this completely improvised live performance is coming from the laptop. Find out more about Omnisphere 2 here:

DOMi is using a Roland A-88 and a Novation Launchkey to play the Spectrasonics instruments in this video. The keyboard stand is a custom Gibraltar build.

This is the story of the Linn LM-1, the world's first ever digital drum machine. Iconic and incredibly rare, you're unlikely to ever see one (only 500 ever made). Taylor McFerrin has a knack for knowing just how many elements he can balance before things topple over, which speaks to his proclivities as a jazz fusionist; but Early Riser is by no means the kind of affair that'll leave you struggling to orient yourself. The majority of the album passes by in a pleasant swirl, to the point that McFerrin's efforts could be mistaken for complacency. For every moment of undeniable beauty, such as "The Antidote" and the moving "Decisions", there are just as many that feel like closing your fist on a handful of sand. When "Degrees of Light" finishes, any imprint it left evaporates immediately with it. Without a strong anchor, much of Early Riser floats away into the atmosphere long before you even notice it's gone.
